Guests are usually interesting, the host comes across has having little to no personality and an accusatory style of interviewing. He seems like he is out to pick on people and highlight their fallacies when possible. There is a better, more productive way to question. Can be hard to listen to, too negative.

So informative, I learn every time I listen. Beware of the overwhelming loud squeal noise when they transition.

This podcast is real fashion. Fashion is all about image, but there is reality behind it - if you want to be knowledgdable about the genre, you must listen. Not just designers, but retailers and merchandisers and wholesalers and illiustrators and producers and photographers and models and stylists and fashion instagramers and fashion bloggers and pattern drafters and manufacturers and yes even consumers. Listen.

I am not in the fashion world (I don't even dress well) - but I met Marc at an event and was impressed with his enthusiasm for those who are listeners of this podcast. I checked out the show and it is good. Check it out!

Every episode I learn something new, hear a different viewpoint or discover another facet to something I'm already slightly familiar with! The hosts are curious and knowledgeable, they can't help but ask the questions they are wondering about. Even the episodes I don't think I'd be interested in turn out to be great.

All in all one of the best fashion podcasts. As a very young designer in the business, this cast has been the most reasonable and attainable with their suggestions. I have learned some difficult lessons so keep it up cuz us left brain era need all the business help we can get!

I love this podcast because it's talking about real issues and real solutions in the fashion industry.

I have been listening to this top notch podcast for a few months now, and as a fashion illustrator & aspiring designer, it is SO helpful to hear about what is going on in the industry today, and start to understand the changes that are taking place. The hosts ask GREAT and satisfyingly SPECIFIC questions, and are so on-point that often I feel I am physically THERE in the room participating. (Sorry for all the caps, but I really do find it that exciting!Yay!) Thank you AFP for digging into this very important topic, and discussing it this way, so that those to want to learn are able to listen in.

An indispensable podcast featuring fascinating interviews and commentary on the fashion industry; delving into not only the business side but also where current fashion references history and culture. Highly recommended.

They have really great guests on the show and I love hearing about the services that I didn't know were there. As a resource for emerging designers the information given is usually done with broad strokes and the details are sometimes incorrect. I understand the broad stokes, he wants to promote his consulting business and maybe not give a way too much but for specific useful information there are better resources. That does not detract from the "talking shop" aspect of the show. I love fashion as a creative outlet and a global business and it's fun to hear others that love it as well on a more earth bound level with out the "Your fabulous, no YOUR fabulous, no darling……." ego stroking.

I am so grateful I found this podcast last year! It has become an incredible source of insight and information on a wide range of topics in the fashion industry of past, present and future. I especially appreciate the hosts' attentiveness of major issues currently effecting the industry and the world.

The hosts of the American fashion podcast has really given me great insight into the American fashion industry, especially being an self-taught emerging designer! They have provided me with some much needed information to make informed decisions when it comes to commerce, fashion shows, sustainability, and reassurance that fashion needs designers...which keeps me thrilled to be apart of this industry!
