Tani is entitled woke and has no mechanics
Path is tani’s soapbox for recruiting mechanics Tani is very cheap in paying techs that is why dream gigs south of the path entice everybody to keep leaving.

    JRA?
What happened to JRA? I like the Path, but the real gold was the JRA show. Are they ever coming back from the coal mines?
  • FSherm29
Boring and hard to listen to content.
Where is JRA?! It was the only thing worth listening to.
  • Nope I won't give a username
    JRA
What happened to JRA!?! My favorite pod on mountain bike radio. Bring back the banter, calling out the industry & chicken nuggets!

love most of the podcasts under the mtb radio umbrella
adore ‘just riding along’ ! ‘thepath’ is good too but really focused on california and sometimes gets too much into evokes so i forward through those parts

Where did all the good shows go?
Kelli Jennings, Drew Edsall etc. Other than JRA and the Path, the content is boring. Disappointed in where things stand

    Great bike stuff.
So much good content from all the podcast contributors. Ben, you rock. The path is great. JRA crew, you’re awesome... not entirely sure what to do with you, but great advice and content, keep up the great work!

JRA is phenomenal! Really enjoy the banter and rants! Love hearing the truth about OEM’s products AND the NICA episode was funny as hell! Keep it up!

    Like bikes? Listen here
The most entertaining and fun podcast available. And they talk about bikes also! No punches pulled product discussions, industry talk, and solid Q & A talk. The hosts play off each very well and I can honestly say in all the years I’ve been listening there’s never been a boring show.

    Entertaining
Mountain Bike Radio Podcast encompasses all types of smaller MTB podcasts into one place, there really is something for everyone. I particularly like the fun and snarky Just Riding Along Podcast.

Pure goldmine, great show with awesome hosts
I can’t describe how much entertainment this show has brought me. As a mountain bike enthusiast stuck in the corporate grind, this show is one of the few outlets to the MTB community that I have. I love the banter, tech talk and general content. Major shout out to Andrea, Matt and Kenny on the Just Riding Along show. You guys are hilarious and informative!

    Ain’t Scared
Good stuff. It’s cool to get the inside scoop on what works and what doesn’t from people that actually work on bicycles. Ain’t scared to tell you like it is...

    JRA is Garbage
JRA is complete garbage. Easy up on the F bombs, geez 🙄

    Goon but needs improvement
Fun MTB content. Educational and entertaining. Just Riding Along and The Path are good bike shop and industry banter. New England Dirt is entertaining for riding in the New England area, but they need to get their audio situation sorted out. It seems like some people are right next to the mic while the host is on the other side of the room. You can’t hear the host which means missing half the podcast; which is borderline inexcusable now.

    Good stuff
Good content, but lately missing the variety I used to enjoy. Apex nutrition? JRA seems to have jumped the shark. I can’t get enough of The Path, it’s my favorite podcast right now.
  • the quickbrownfoxjumps
Waste of time, truck stop language JRA
Kinda geeky bike talk but junk highschool talk and boring bla. They think they are so interesting its just disgusting. They will laugh and disrespect at their own listeners regularly. Ill get bike Information and entertainment elsewhere.

    Great Threesome
These three keep my stoke on high and put a huge smile on my face every week! Great advice with an awesome look into the bike shop community!!!

    Never Disappointed!!
When I first started listening to MBR and saw that there is so many shows on this one podcast, it was kind of concerning. I was looking for a simple podcast with a host and co-host that I could identify with and that’s it. I started religiously listening to Just Riding Along and absolutely loved the personalities of Matt, Andria and Kenny and soon realized I had listened to every episode and now currently up to date. Liking them so much, I didn’t think any other show on this podcast would hold up to them...and I was happily mistaken. I started listen to The Path, Regular Guy, and so on and so forth. Everyone on this podcast has such a personality that is so magnetizing that I always want more lol. Also VERY educational. This is a top notch podcast and my favorite in this genre!! Thank you everyone for the amazing work and hours of learning and laughs. Have a nice day 🚵‍♀️📻

    Adult only
Don’t have this playing if there are kids around. These mtb’rs don’t know how to use adjectives greater than 4 letters.
  • Hyper active.
    JRA
Love me some JRA! The best podcast on MBR.

Love the Path podcast but not much else
I’ve been a long time listener of mtb radio. I like some of the information in Just Riding Along but after getting drunk, getting high and the excessive cussing and complaining it gets old pretty quick. I think the hosts are informative and I do like their knowledge but I don’t care for the way they share it. I think it could be way more fun and professional. I do love every aspect of the path podcast. Very informative and they have awesome interviews as well. The rest is hit and miss with nutrition, some race events and regular guy is just ok for me. I really only download the Path.

    Love MBR!
One of the best bicycling podcast collections. Especially love JRA, The Path, and Apex Nutrition

Language like a truck stop...no thanks.
Pretty disappointed with the language used on this podcast. I was looking forward to some good MTB discussion and content. Oh well.
  • Spoke Brake
    Entertaining & informative!
I enjoy the range of topics explored across the many shows available and I always look forward to new episodes. Veteran riders and those new to the sport will find this content useful and relevant.

I would like it without (or with much less) cursing...
I started listening this podcast (JRA) recently but I lost interest after hearing "f*cking" ~50 times in five minutes....

    Just Riding Along Show
This review applies to JRA (Just Riding Along): No structure whatsoever, talking about cars and irrelevant stuff to MTB. Many other shows that have much better content.

    JRA/Trail Cast Listener
MBR has a show for every type of mountain bike rider out there. I personally enjoy the antics of the three stooges (so-called "bike mechanics" who race "balls out") on Just Riding Along. A metric ton of informational "nuggets" packed in-between the sheets of insider information, race coverage, interviews, hiccups, and hangry mic drops. It's nice to hear informative opinions based on real world bike shop customers fails and pro race knowledge. Taken with large grains of rock salt to the face, you can come away from this show with an appreciation for your LBS, respect for the technology you ride into the hills, and red-faced for all the stupit crap that you've done to your bike/wallet without listening to this show first. The Trail Cast is a completely different attitude, but has had me understand what happens "behind the scenes" when I'm not riding. Definitely has me volunteering more with my local trail associations and respecting the work it takes to make my local trails system accessible for more than just the Gnarls Bike-lees of the world. I've come away from Trail Cast feeling conscious of my trail use, a renewed interest in trail maintenance, and have since joined my local IMBA chapter. As of late, I’ve found The Path to be a good source of Bro-duro info. When I’m looking to get rad or just fantasize about what it would like to be rad, I give this crew a listen. Occasionally blessed with some great insider info from the West. Thank you to Ben and all of the MTBR podcasters for providing your unique perspectives for all of us riders to enjoy.

    New to the sport.
My 11 year old found this podcast as we were driving home from Highland. Is a bit over our head but entertaining and positive. Lots to learn about this sport and these guys cover lots. From component reviews to full bike discussions , trail building and racing. We will keep listening as we figure out what our first full suspension bikes will be.

    JRA rocks
Great station. Last aid station has had some tremendous interviews lately but JRA is MTB radio's bread and butter, hilarious and intensely informative. My bikes were all built from their recommendations and I learned to work on them myself with a lot of JRA instruction. Love how they are cost conscious and not super high end bike snobs. Their newest episode is always the highlight of my commute. JRA is a true original and all other similar shows don't compare
  • Kjl42
Love it! Huge JRA and The Path fan.
Been digging through the archives to hear all the shows and I learned a lot about armadillos and X7 dumpster fires. Keeps me entertained throughout the work week.

    Super knowledgeable and entertaining

    Almost unable to listen
This would be an outstanding podcast if they would stick to mountain biking and not push their liberal ideology on the listener on a fairly regular basis. At least I'm able to identify the politically motivated casts almost immediately and can delete it.

    jra and the path
Love JRA and the Path, but Ben's speech pattern and interview style is too distracting to listen to.

A mix of mountain bike podcasts all in one spot. Brilliant idea. I give The Path and Mountain Bike Skills five stars. The Path podcast is atop of my list for any type podcast. Funny and awesome chemistry and they explain things so good. Unfortunately I have to give the flagship show Just Riding Along two stars for the language. If I wanted that type of language I'd listen to Adam Corolla or Howard Stern. Too bad because the hosts have so much knowledge. I just delete that one and listen to all the rest. No worries though, there's something for everyone.

Great podcast with many different perspectives on biking. Including gravel rides, fat biking, and mountain biking. Great group of people putting out lots of good information.
  • killn00bz
    Good show
I'm a beginner, but after listening to a lot of episodes from these bike shop employees/racers/riders, I am much more interested in the subject.

    Great stuff
I love most all of the shows. I wish I could rate The shows an individually. Just Ride Along has way to much swearing! So I'd give that one a 2. Good info just a ridiculous amount of F word
  • anyroadhome
Great resource for the cycling community
Ben has created something special with mbr. The hard work that he and all of the contributors to the assortment of shows put in is evident in the quality and variety of the material. There is so much content and I'm happy that it is still going strong! Although we do need some new out of step shows... come on fellas!
