This is the podcast I have been looking for!!
French Your Way with Jessica is exactly the type of French language program I have been searching for! Jessica covers grammar points, usage points, French customs, idiomatic expressions and much more! She weaves several points throughout each podcast and includes the vocabulary on her website. So many other programs insist that one can learn a language without worrying about grammar - that simply reading and adding vocabulary are the natural ways to learn a new language. However, I believe that all are necessary - reading, listening, speaking, watching videos, watching films, AND understanding the grammar that provides structure to the language. In each French Your Way podcast, I learn at least one thing that I did not know, or had forgotten - for example, the common misconception about the formation of the present participle. I am convinced that Jessica’s podcasts and resources will give me much more confidence in my spoken and written French. I continue to immerse myself in the language through reading, videos, timed vocabulary reviews, etc., but Jessica’s podcast completely fills in all the missing parts for me! She explains WHY the language functions as it does. It opens a brand new door for me! Thank you, Jessica! You really are passionate about explaining all this to us, and I am very grateful! Love your podcast
Merci Jessica pour ton travaille, je aime bien la dictée et la lecture avec les transcriptions. Le petit prince a été superbe. Keep up the good work and thanks again for all your efforts. I listen to you in French Polynesia

    That perfect in between
After studying French throughout high school and college, it’s been difficult to find the right resources to continue my French, especially as someone who often feels like they are in between levels. This podcast feels like a productive place for people who have grasped the basics but needs a way to practice speaking and listening while incorporating the concepts we learn in school. Besides immersing myself into a French speaking city, this feels like the next best thing on a journey to becoming more fluent. The bite sized episodes are perfectly focused for a manageable daily study session and so is easily incorporated into my routine. Thank you for this gift Jessica!

    Lovely but sleepy
Jessica seems really kind and like a wonderful teacher - her voice is soothing even - but these episodes are far too slow and put me to sleep! Need to speed up the content please, get to the point and move on from stories a lot quicker.

This podcast has rekindled my passion for learning French!
I have very much enjoyed listening to Jessica’s podcasts and have been listening to them from her very first episode. They are so interesting and she even makes the grammar lessons fun. She has such a diverse mix of podcasts, ranging from giving advice on learning and practicing French to actually teaching vocabulary and grammar. I majored in French in college but did not get to practice it much afterwards, so it has been a joy to go back to it and I have to thank Jessica for making this wonderful podcast that I learn so much from every week! The podcast certainly has rekindled my love and passion for learning the French language.

She creates an amazing connection to her listeners!
Stellar Human Connection! I truly believe the best thing I’m getting here is the way Jessica creates a connection to her listeners! She does an amazing job integrating interesting conversation about her personal life and french culture in the lessons so I am always engaged and interested in what I’m learning and why I’m learning it! She feels like a dear friend and I adore her and her little one! This podcast should supplement/maybe even replace alot of learning programs out there that don’t teach how french is spoken in the real world! Here you will learn not just what is said but also why and what common mistakes non-natives make which is truly the reason I’ve been addicted to this podcast over others! Thanks so much I am loving every minute!

    Helpful; needs some editing
Jessica’s grammar tips are very helpful and thorough. The podcast could use some editing (there are lots of pauses and “ums”) which I think would make the episodes quite a bit shorter. I’m grateful for this podcast, though! It’s helping me keep up my French during the months between French classes.

    French Your Way is wonderful
I have a fair grounding in French grammar and can survive in France but Jessica has helped me move forward on both. I also enjoy her episodes that mix language with cultural information. She has an effective and gentle teaching approach to getting into the nuances of the language and great tips. Many others have said she is like a new friend. I agree ... look no further. This is a great podcast.

    A joy to listen to...
The real reason I adore this podcast is how you explain everything- French is a very challenging and unique language with “beaucoup” idiosyncrasies, many of which are not natural to English speakers. I’m not just learning vocabulary and pronunciation, but finally some sayings are making more sense to me. Also I just love your voice, it is super cute and happy and uplifting and I listen to you every day driving to work now. Merci!
  • machineknitter
    Too much English
I’ve only listened to a couple of episodes, but I find the proportion of English to French is really poor. It would be better if the text was explained in French.
  • Irishmidget6
    Great Podcast
Jessica does a great job teaching. I would consider myself intermediate and I learn a ton, even on topics I think I know pretty well. This is well worth your time and energy whether you are just looking to learn a bit more about the language or if you want to truly study. She also does a great job giving ideas on how to immerse yourself in French language, even if you live in an area where there is very little French spoken!

    Best French Podcast. Period.
I cannot believe I didn't find this podcast sooner! And I haven't sven heard her other one "French Voices" I studied french all of high school with a private teacher and although I learned excellent french, I've forgotten a bit but I had never seen material presented to well before. They're fun, easy to understand and she's constant! I have been taking notes and really appreciate her notes on the podcast website. Please keep making this podcast! I will definitely keep listening! Thank you.

    Fantastic podcast!
I absolutely love this podcast. I’d say I am an advanced beginner, but I love listening even when I am not familiar with the topics that are discussed. I feel like I learn so much about how to speak French naturally as opposed to text book learning. So practical! 5/5 stars, definitely recommended!! I also really enjoy Jessica’s other podcast French Voices. Though I can’t always keep up with what is being said, it is so, so helpful for developing my French.
  • SkidFranc11
Very informative, helpful, entertaining and enjoyable way to expand your French learning!
Jessica is a great teacher. It’s the perfect mix of French and English too.
  • mystic09
    Thank you Jessica!!!
This is by far the best podcast for intermediate French learners. It is obvious that Jessica has a great understanding of the English language because she teaches exactly how my brain wants to learn! Her teaching perspective shows that she truly understands the most common challenges faced by English speakers when learning French. She gives clear and concise explanations of French grammar and does so in a way that is easy to remember and fun! Jessica’s unique approach to teaching French has set her apart from all other resources I’ve come across. Thank you Jessica!

I just stumbled upon this podcast a few days ago and I was instantly hooked. There is just something about Jessica that makes this podcast so inviting. I love listening to this while I am at work, it helps me get though my morning. I’ve almost finished every episode available on the Apple Podcast app, but I will definitely be making my way over to the website to listen to the rest!
  • ReconBeef
Very helpful with grammar structure and sentence creation
I recently moved to Francophone West Africa, and though I had studied a couple of years of French in elementary school I remember none of it. Unlike France or others French-speaking countries the locals only speak French in their native dialect, so it is been a complete immersion experience. What I have really enjoyed about this podcast is that it gets under the hood on grammar and sentence creation, which is so critical to being able to move towards fluency. So many language programs and podcast work on memorizing phrases, this is fine if you are vacationing but if your intention is to live and work you have to have the grammar structure to be able to move forward. I really like the relatively short sessions, usually 15 to 20 minutes. I would recommend this podcast for anyone who wants to get a stronger grasp of the French language

    Most useful podcast
I first took high school french 37 years ago and college level French 33 years ago. My career and children prevented the continuation of French studies. I am so excited to have found your podcast. I listen anytime I can, at my office awaiting deliveries (obstetrician) as well as at home. I can be found with Bluetooth earbuds diligently taking notes. The podcast frequently has better explications than many textbooks. My colleague is originally from Lebanon and French is her second language. We share many conversations in French. Thank you for knowing how to explain and giving excellent examples. I find that so much information has easily returned.

    French language podcast
Podcast and teacher are very organized. The lessons are a good length and the subjects are relevant and informative. I like that there are notes relating to most lessons so you can review them during or after listening to the podcast. Très bien fait.

    love, Love, LOVE Jessica's podcasts!
I have been listening to both of Jessica's podcasts for about a year now. FYW contains a wealth of knowledge in the form of concise grammar, vocabulary and cultural lessons. I love listening to this podcast in the morning over breakfast or when I am at work by myself. I also love that you can email Jessica with questions and lesson ideas and she listens to your advice. When I listen to this podcast, I have the feeling that I am listening to an old friend and it's a very nice feeling. Thanks for all of your hard work Jessica, and keep the great podcasts coming! Merci!

    So much clarity!
I started speaking French and seventh grade, and at the age of 59 I am starting to study it again. I got two and advanced level III in my previous studies but the years have definitely had an impact on what I remember. I absolutely completely, Jessica fanatic! She is so brilliant at clarifying grammar issues that used to confuse me. My only issue with her is that I want more… And I would be happy to pay for it. She is really delightful, clear in her explanations, and enthusiastic.

    Best French Podcast Yet!
I just stumbled on this podcast a few weeks ago after studying French on my own for about two years. It is perfect for explaining those pesky little grammar details and Jessica's style makes you feel very comfortable learning. It is one of the few language podcasts I can listen to over and over. I'm still binging to catch up on all the episodes I've missed! Thank you Jessica for your dedicated work. It's obvious that you put a lot of thought and care into this!
  • 3dwhispers
    My favorite French podcast
Jessica has a friendly demeanor and her podcasts are fun ! She clearly explains to topic of the day in a manner which is easy to understand. It's an excellent tool to supplement my study of this most beautiful language.
  • Mike87111
    Eureka! I have found it!
French Your Way and French Voices are "parfait". The format is non-threatening, simple to follow and has an advantage over other learning resources. You aren't limited to the sound and intonations of one voice or team of voices as you would be with an Hachette Livre. The variety and the subtle differences in pronounciation, inflection and word choices make this my new "Go To".

    Great Tips and Insights
I've listened to a lot of French podcasts, but this one has become my favorite. Jessica's episodes are in perfectly sized and pack just the right amount of information in each one. The episodes are really informative and fun. Listen to these if you want to improve your French.

    Nothing less than 5 stars!
Bite-sized lessons with incalculably large benefits. This podcast is a must for all beginners who want to learn the little but super-important subtleties of the French language which grammar books hardly ever address. Je suis reconnaissant pour votre excellent travail!
  • Mike1 from Delaware
    Awesome!!
I found Jessica's podcasts just by chance and I'm so glad I did! They are really excellent - simple, clear explanations with plenty of examples. I'm an advanced intermediate learner and her podcasts provide a good review as well as some interesting facts (like on French numbers!). Her podcasts address and clarify key points of the language learners find confusing, and that are not well addressed by other sources. I also really enjoy her French Voices podcasts. Both are well worth subscribing to. Thanks Jessica for providing this very valuable resource!!

    Perfect Podcast!
This is the perfect French language learning podcast, if you already have a little French, or a lot, and you want to learn how real French is spoken, and why. It is presented in bite-size morsels, and fastidiously documented in the show notes. Jessica is charming and very passionate about her subject!
  • Ashally526

I absolutely love this podcast. It is done in a conversational manner, and Jessica is so authentic. I new to this podcast, but have listened to everyone from episode zero up until now over the course of a couple weeks. Thanks to this podcast, I have rethought my position on learning proper grammar and will be buying a book strictly on that subject. Thanks Jessica!!!
