I love this show. Easy 5/5. Great analysis. Love the comic book tie ins. My ONE criticism is that the movie reviews are always a little less structured than the show reviews. Show reviews usually go scene by scene. Which I think is typically nice. The movie reviews jump around a lot. Still A+ content no matter what. I’m always eagerly waiting for new shows!

I’m all set. You have to pay to get any current episodes. I will not pay for content that I can get free from so many other outlets. Also, you lot sound continues to be off (Paul is so much louder than Sean). If you are going to charge, have better equipment! You just posted Agatha episode 3. Sorry, two weeks too late. So I’ve unsubscribed. Good luck to you!

This podcast can be very entertaining at times but, sometimes they seem to get afraid of offending people with their opinions. so they tend to state how they feel then IMMEDIATELY backtrack and have a repetitive monologue that usually runs on for 2.5-5 minutes where the host talks in circles. Other than that they are great with deep dives into the content

This podcast is really great to listen to and help pass the time at work but half the episodes I listened to have some kind of error causing the playback to repeat a segment over and over until the episode stops.

This show used to be a dream for the average MCU fan. They would have full review episodes about each movie, rumors, casting and other MCU project news, and full D+ episode reviews and everything. Now, they barely do one show a month on this main channel while the Patreon channel gets everything the main channel used to get. They can’t even be bothered to do full D+ episode reviews anymore. They’ve been reviewing 4 to 5 D+ episodes in one podcast on this main, free channel while the paid one gets the detailed analysis (see the Echo and What If season 2 reviews). It seems that if there’s no MCU project being released, they don’t have an episode for the main channel and will barely give us an all-around episode. But the Patreon channel gets CONSTANT full content. What about those of us who listened to every episode and helped build the streaming numbers this whole time? Why is all the detailed content going to Patreon? Not all of us have enough disposable income to warrant paying for a podcast. My budget only allows for one streaming service, which is D+, and that’s it. And even that will soon be let go because times are tough out here for me and many others, unfortunately. But now, I’m being shut out of discussions that should be made for ALL MCU fans to be able to hear. I can understand giving the Patreon members a bonus episode or two (or even episodes that are about things outside of the MCU like DC or Star Wars), but to give them basically everything and the MAIN channel gets bite-sized morsels with barely any content now is not right. MCU Fan Show, don’t forget about the listeners who have been with you for many, MANY years now but can’t afford to subscribe. Please make the content distribution a lot more even so that everyone can hear and enjoy. It’s sad to see where you guys have decided to take this channel now. Here’s hoping for an improvement for us little people…..

When the bottom rung of shills know they have free rein to criticize Disney without reprisal it’s over. When the crowd who just couldn’t find anything wrong with the MCU for 12 years (unless a bigger outlet said it first so they knew what to say) now all of a sudden can see all the problems others have been saying for years it’s over. When the once proud superfan wipes his resume of all the geek media he used to put out because he finally figured out it’s getting him nowhere IT’S. OVER. Thanks for proving to everyone you’re the leech we all thought you were back at Superhero News Gerber. Enjoy life as a freelance “coof” snitch, I’m sure once that goes out of style you’ll pretend you didn’t perform that function either.

This show slaps. I love Paul and Sean's comedy and bickering back and forth about theories it's honestly hilarious. They break down mcu things and talk about theories that range from the most far fetched thigh ever heard to actual something that makes a lot of sense that they actually got right. I'm sorry Sean ,(no offense) but I could listen to Paul's voice for HOURS Oh my gosh, his voice is just gorgeous💀 As of right now their doing spoiler review on Loki S2 and love it when they get their new ep. And it makes my day. You both r awesome and keep it up boys!!!

I find that the content of the show’s reviews are generally very good deep dives into individual episodes or films, but the actual rhythm of the conversations themselves is very frustrating. The main host monotonously drones in VERY long, wordy, repetitive monologues where he often is making the same point over and over. Then the other host reacts to that for maybe 30 seconds before the next long monotonous monologue. It is not a fun conversation to listen to.

Listening to MCU podcasts is great! Sean and Paul seem to have a great time nerding out and I feel like I’m sitting with friends. My spouse got me into the world of MCU about 10 years ago so I’ve followed the world since then and boy am I glad I did! Of course, everybody has their own opinions, so listeners don’t need to agree with everything said. I know sometimes I disagree and I’m talking to my phone as if Sean and Paul were right there with me. Agree, disagree, it’s all fun and enjoyable. We love these characters and the MCU. You will laugh and have a great time. Highly recommend!

I tried listening to the Ant-Man episode but it kept rewinding/repeating parts. I think I heard the “Baskin Robbins” joke (which I think he messed up) at least three times.

I learned many years ago that if you can’t be brilliant you can at least be brief. Just discovered this podcast. You guys are awesome! Thank you for all the love you put into your work here. It is good to have friends , especially like you two.

It’s almost eerie how either Sean or Paul’s takes on the MCU mirror my own. It’s cathartic for me since I don’t have friends or family who are interested enough to do the deep dives. I can do this all day.

The 2 of them are utterly fantastic. Love the in-depth analysis and break down. Especially Sean’s unbiased takes on topics. HOWEVER, I feel like there needs to be significant improvement on their interaction with their audience/listeners on social media. The current interaction is basically non-existent. As they spend a solid 5 minutes at the beginning and end of each podcast promoting Fan Show + and all their socials, I feel like it’s only fair they interact with their listeners on these channels if they are going to promote these channels so much

Hands down the best Marvel podcast out there. You guys always cover the movies perfectly and I love that you both can fill in the gaps of each others knowledge when it comes to the comic story lines. As soon as I have the money again, I will definitely resubscribe to the Patreon!

Sean Gerber and Paul Hermann are wonderful, there are no two ways about it. They found a way to synthesize what I love about these movies and articulate it with such ease. Their analysis is as compelling as the media they critiquing. Their insights are without parallel. Whether it is the business side of things, the art form itself, or the comic books. They have kept me entertained for years and they are at the pinnacle of their craft. Excelsior!

This podcast is incredible!! Y’all have so much insight into both the movies and the comics. I love that you guys talk about the comics as well as the MCU. I’m an avid Marvel comic reader, and I’m always trying to find these little hints and details in the comics that could point to stuff that might be happening later on in the MCU. (I’m thinking the Beyonders are doing something with the Multiverse in the MCU that we just don’t know about yet.) Anyways, keep up the great work! Higher, further, faster! My interest in the MCU has waned a little over the years but I still love listening to Paul and Sean discuss. They both bring a lot of knowledge from the comics and you can really hear the passion they have for the genre. Keep it up, boys.

At a podcast standpoint, it’s very organized and is fantastic. That being said, you may find, like me, that Sean’s and Paul’s politics differ from your own. Normally I wouldn’t mind that much if a podcast talks rarely about politics. But this podcast talks about politics constantly, and I think I should warn them. You are destined to failure if you continue with this Sean and Paul. Because of marvel’s politics they will start to lose their audience. When they lose the audience you will lose your audience. Very soon you will have to resort to sponsorships and advertisements in you podcast episodes. When this happens and you did nothing to prevent it don’t be surprised about it. Here’s my word of advice: come up with something else you can podcast about that will gain the interest of the GA, so that when Marvel falls apart you will be prepared

Never thought I could listen to a 2+ hour review of a 30 min show but Sean and Paul are very insightful and entertaining.

Sean and Paul do a great job breaking down MCU movies and Disney+ shows. Providing their honest feelings about each installment of the MCU. These projects are works of art, as are all works of film, and therefore Sean and Paul’s reviews are subjective and based on their own opinions. While I may not always agree with their opinions or how they experienced the different installments, I more often than not agree with them and it’s clear they are fans of these projects and want to love them all, as do I.

This is the best Marvel podcast ever it understands everything about Marvel and it helps the people who don’t understand the comics really well and it always have fun listen to

I’ve been looking for a good MCU podcast for some time and I feel I finally found it! This podcast has a great format, production and the content is really nice to listen too. With so many podcasts out there that like to bash things in a unfair light with MCU, this podcast is the total opposite. The conversations are well thought out and the knowledge of MCU is helpful to me. Even if there is some disagreement, it’s from an intelligent respectful place. Which makes me appreciate the show even more . Sean is a fantastic host. I’m looking forward to listening to more shows.

I have listened to this show for years. That’s a plus. But it seems more and more Sean is being less an objective podcaster and far more a cheerleader of all things Marvel. Regardless of quality of show, it’s always the best thing ever! While criticism is occasionally heard, it’s always couched in well it’s Marvel, so, yeah! For example, She-Hulk is so rabidly anti-man in its presentation and better than Hulk at all things Hulk. Sean and Paul are a good team, it’s just sad it’s so … cheerleader and no real criticism of the writing, cinematography, or the political ham-handedness of the material. Even if you don’t agree the political bent of recent Marvel Outings tilting far to the left, it does get old that so often that 50% of America is chastised or made the brunt of Marvel’s Message. A reduction to 2/5.

The podcast is great. My only complaint is that they need to release episodes a little more often P.S.- people please stop hating on Paul

Sean is a fantastic host and you can feel his love of the MCU. Paul’s passion for the history and comics is unapologetic. It is a must listen for fans of the MCU.

Best mcu podcast out there by far. No one else comes close to the the level of knowledge and passion they have for Marvel.

I really enjoy listening to Sean discuss his reviews on the different Marvel shows and movies. Paul is okay; he’s very much a Debbie Downer, and it sometimes feels like he doesn’t have as much knowledge like Sean when it comes to Marvel. A lot of Paul’s complaints come from not being a replica of the comics, and he talks in circles a lot. There are times when you can hear Sean getting annoyed and/or cut Paul off because he’s going nowhere with what he’s saying. I wouldn’t deter from listening to this podcast, but you may not want to listen to all of the episodes when it comes to Paul.

So this podcast is the best marvel podcast why do people hate on Paul he’s just doing his job his way how would you like if you were him and people said that stuff to you if you like it then like it if u don’t then dont idc just stop being Hippocrates!

Sean is an amazing host! I love listening for him and him only! He does his research, he has amazing points and thoughts! Now Paul…….listen man I don’t wanna be mean or hurtful but the guy “doesn’t like” ANYTHING! Every episode “I don’t like this I don’t liek that I hated this” like I’m more shocked when I hear him say he likes something every blue moon, plus he rambles and rambles in circles and doesn’t even know names of anything too

I mistook this podcast for actual news or information about Marvel and the MCU. Instead, the host just talk about their thoughts and opinions and try to make each other laugh.

I’ve recently discovered this gem. The hosts love the subject but are honest about its flaws, and they offer recent news without silliness, as many other podcasts tend to do.

Yet, for me, Sean’s cohost diminishes his spectacular insights and professionalism. It’s obvious that Sean puts in tremendous time and effort into each episode and it absolutely shows. He is the reason why I became a member of the shows Patreon group because I wanted to help support his great efforts in some way. Although, Paul is making me consider dropping my support altogether. Following the old adage of “If you don’t have something nice to say...”, I will simply express that I hope to see Sean’s professionalism emulated more closely, either from his current cohost or from another. In the meantime, I’ll be enjoying Sean’s great work here for as long as I can bear Paul! ***Patreon Tier Suggestion*** A podcast feed where Paul is edited out of the show. I’d gladly pay for this!

I began listening to this podcast during the Road To Infinity War series. Fell in love with it instantly. Sean is very well spoken and has a great way of breaking the films/shows down. For as much as I love the show and enjoy listening to Sean’s take on the MCU, Paul is pretty tough to listen to. He endlessly rambles without any direction most of the time and it seems to have only gotten worse over the years and somehow less concise. I don’t wish to be hurtful in my critique of the show, I just would like to see the show improve. I’ll still listen regularly and highly recommend this show to MCU fan.
