Well, I have always appreciated the format of the show, bringing multiple perspectives to forum to consider issues in ways beyond the normal partisanship scope. Over the years of listening to this show, Bill’s Islamophobia has been a constant and with the aggressions of Netanyahu’s being perfectly accepted by Bill , I can’t stand to listen to this any longer. The normalization of the current Trump administration as evidenced by sitting down to dinner with the president is a bridge way too far. UNSUBSCRIBED.

Bill just keeps on getting better, while not changing his core libertarian/classical liberal values, which I’ve taken note of going back to ‘politically incorrect’. Nobody can roast this trendy virus of anti-reason, pro emotion woke-ism like Bill. I keep thinking, there would be no better political guest for Bill to sit down with for his podcast; I just pray if he has him on, that particular episode lasts way longer than 1 hr..they need a 3 hr Rogan styled podcast

Bill, How are you? Great show, as usual, and I liked your analysis of your dinner with Trump. I believe the way he has gone about tariffs and Musk’s “blanket” firings of Federal Employee is horrible! These people have/had family’s, mortgages and regular old living expenses. What will they do now? I am a retired Federal Employee who worked for DoD for 37 years and yes, I hated seeing people who come to work and merely occupy space. There is a way to get rid of them! On the tariffs, it is my opinion Trump is stealing using “Insider Trading”. “I don’t know this for a fact, I just know it’s true”!

I’ve watched/listened to mahers show for over 10 years now. He’s a big elitist leftist who believes he and his buddies should have control over your life…but he also has the rare quality of being able to see and point out the excesses of the left, which very rare and can be quite refreshing. Bill has a MAJOR case of TDS which clouds his judgement. Bill also has no kids or family, he lives the life of a Hollywood playboy at 7x years old and that clouds his judgement.

Used to be provocative and effective at challenging the status quo..especially as it pertained to critiquing trump. Now you can see him becoming a bit of an apologist for the right, a man set in his ways, ignorant of new ideas and obsessed with cancel culture. He is past his sell by date. Has nothing to do with age , has everything to do with his values and opinions.

Ezra failed to acknowledge the financial fraud associated with California’s high speed rail and other blue state financial waste. It’s not just bureaucracy, it’s theft and corruption and kickbacks, that’s why it never improves. Wish Maher pressed that issue more. Ezra is in an ivory tower of naivety or he’s willfully choosing to edit out that information to push his narrative.

Bill, how can you allow Ezra Klein to say that Dem voters are following the news, Republican voters don’t? What an elitist, ignorant blanket statement. Well just finished listening to the 4/26/2024 episode of the man who tells the truth in a rubber bouncy ball so we enjoy hearing it yet we know there’s a real problem today in America. Ljust say that yes free speech is allowed but if we are truly smarter then these kids who haven’t lived yetis to see if they are truly sincere then band together with the American Jewish citizens and both agreee to protest the treatment of innocent women non military men n children of all ages then you truly find the haters in the crowds and both sides can see those people for who they are because our kids haven’t live it’s our responsibility to lead them in their prusuit of true humanity. I don’t know why Casey Means didn’t finish her residency when she was so close to being done though I don’t know much about her. I agree with improving nutrition but don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater. Causing canine hesitancy is a problem bc the masses are not educated in medicine like you are in medical school!!

I love this podcast, perhaps because I agree with almost everything Maher says, but also because I can't think of anyone else who's doing this kind of polital humor. Where's Mort Sahl when we need him? In addition, it has a kind of Bill Buckly Firing Line vibe, with honestly conflicting viewpoints. I can't praise it enogh.
