    The mouth nodes are unbearable
All I heard was negativity thrown at metal and shredding and unbearable mouth noises before they'd speak.

    Too Much Wasted Dialogue
This is a good show if you can get past the 20-30 minutes of gibberish at the beginning. Whatever the topic in the title, they don’t get to it until late in the show. These episodes could easily be cut down to half the time but I guess they need to fit in more ads to make money. If you don’t mind listening to useless banter between the guests you can take the whole show. For the rest of us, skip the first 30 minutes. I’ve also noticed a heavy concentration of topics on their sponsors.

    Please include links to products!
Love the show, but it would be great if they would include show notes with links for each episode. It would save listeners from having to search for all of the products that are discussed.

    Love the Guitar Nerds but...
When all the guys are talking gear this show is awesome but please stop interviewing these boring European luthiers and guitar wankers. Are there any rock & roll musicians in Europe (NOT Math Rock). Blues? Punk? Pop even. This show is bordering on NPR territory.

My favorite of all the guitar podcasts
The extraordinary collective knowledge of the hosts is astonishing. This is a content rich show. It is an added bonus that they are very entertaining. They are most like a family of angry chimps given just enough food to sustain them and subsequently prone to fighting amongst themselves for survival. I mean this in the nicest possible way.

    Fun, deep, very British
I love this podcast, partly because these are dedicated, knowledgable guitar nerds who talk about all the right things regarding guitars, pedals, and amps, of course, but also guitar minutiae, playing attitude, the general guitar universe (i.e., Gilmour's black start auction, etc.). They are also funny and well recorded, which is important when you're trying to remember all the differences betwee American and British English (Fevva = Feather) and some of the slight differences in slang terms (mucking with = trolling). My only fairly slight criticism is this: A whammy bar is a vibrato, not a tremolo. Vibrato describes a variation in pitch, temolo describes a variation in volume (such as on an amp or a pedal). So on the guitar, whether with the wang bar or your fretting hand, it's a vibrato, on the floor (amp, pedal) it's a tremolo. I must now delve into all the past episodes. Well done!

    Hooray for the Pod
This is my favorite guitar related pod. This crew of fellas manages to balance fun, gear talk, and gear news. Keep it up!

This is the podcast version of talking shop with the guys at the guitar shop. I love it. Special bonus: bass talk!

    Used to love theses guys
But it is extremely unprofessional to talk trash about other podcasts. The guitar world has enough negative energy and trolls as it is.

    Good stuff!
The chemistry between these guys is enough to make you want to tune in. The structure and content of the show keeps a good rhythm as well. I look forward to tuning in every week!

    I love the nerds!
Man these guys are great. Coming out of Brighton England they talk all about the coolest gear and are very knowledgeable about this stuff. Listening is like hanging with good friends and talking guitar. You can tell they work hard on the show and someday I wish to not be broke and be able to support them more. I appreciate great shows like this!

    The Best!
This is the best guitar podcast available. Four fun dudes talking about guitars and gear. I've listened to every episode twice and learned a LOT about guitar stuff. Highly recommeded!

    Gear junkie
The Guitar Nerds podcast is the best out there on terms of discussing gear and guitars. Their podcasts are entertaining yet informative. Also the gentlemen who are on the podcast always have info to share and interesting stories. I highly recommend anyone into gear to listen to these awesome podcasts! -Isaiah Roland

I can’t believe there are so few reviews!
This is the guitar podcast that I look most forward to. I love the dynamic between the hosts and I feel like I’m there hanging out with the guys. Great info! (talk more about weird pedals! surprised you even mentioned the 856, which is not untamable as you thought lol) Anyway, keep up the good work!

    Love this show!
Every week I look forward to the new episode of Guitar Nerds. Mark, Jay, Joe, and Matt are great personalities and have a lot of gear knowledge. The show can be heavy on guitar pedals, but new ones are coming out all of the time, where as guitars, amps and such are somewhat released in batches (around NAMM). The banter between the four Brits is fun and entertaining. Mark holds it all together whist Joe tries to tear it apart, Jay adds color and Matt supplies the technical information. Very fun, although their fascination with pink guitars (especially sparkle pink?) escapes me.

    Awesome!
Very experienced-based knowledge and advice. Great for bedroom guitarists to touring musicians. Also, they talk about bass gear a fair amount. They keep it energetic, funny, and interesting!

    Nerrrrrrds!
Seems like the guitar community gets smaller and smaller every year. So glad to have things like this podcast to make me feel normal about my ever-growing pedal board. Cheers!

    Best guitar/gear podcast
I look forward to listening to this podcast every week. Great stuff. Joe's voices, however, are awful.

Yeah you guys are back. These is the original crew from the GAK guitar podcast, which happens to be my fovorite guitar podcast. Just heard the first two episodes and they are great. Recommended for any guitar nerd.
