The segment pertaining to random gossip about regular people noone knows is completely unnecessary and was very boring so I skipped over it. The whole pod felt rushed to accommodate all these bizarre segments and it felt like we only got maybe 15 mins of what the previous Betches pod gave. Except for the Rick and Chelsea topic there was nothing else in this episode. Hopefully based on feedback this will be improved on else the whole pod would just feel a bit lackluster.

Not sure what I expected but the white lotus finale coverage was so shallow and disrespectful to the actors. To spread rumors about an affair between the cast members (one of them married) is beyond childish. Expected more from a group of women especially

This is the weirdest recap. Gaitok took the gun back. The podcasters keep harping on whether Tim Ratliff is going to _ himself but they seemed to have completely missed that he doesn’t have the gun anymore. It was so weird. They don’t even seem to know Tim’s name. Clearly Gary/Greg is going to offer Belinda money and she’s going to have a hard time saying no because the guy she’s in love with suggested they open a spa together in Thailand. They offer the most superficial analysis. Also, they said they watched the scene with Lochlan and Saxon twice but it’s completely clear what happened. They literally show Lochlan’s hand reach over. I don’t think they actually watched the show

Y’all said that not that much happened on severance this season and I literally have zero idea how you feel that way. Let’s review… for all those who haven’t finished SPOILERS AHEAD 1. they all came back to lumon 2. Everyone found out Helly is a freaking EAGEN 3. Irving’s innie was unalived 4. Bert saves Irving / their romance extends to outie life 5. Helena and mark HAVE SEX 6. Helly and Mark have sex 7. We find out Harmony came from the worst family ever and she invented the severed procedure 8. Marks surviving reintegration so far 9. An innie and outie talk for the first time 10. We meet Dylan’s amazing wife and Dylans innie has an affair with his own wife 11. Milchick’s growth and deepening into his own character 12. We finally learn what they are “ refining “ 13. We see mark and Gemma’s sweet sweet reunion omg 14. I could go on…..

I really do love this show and I look forward to it each week. I dread the weeks Aleen is off because Sami is very passive aggressive to Jordana and it drives me crazy. Aleen serves as such a silly but also intelligent middle ground and helps cut the subtle tension Sami can sometimes cause.

I love this show. I never really followed pop culture until I found this show and I feel like sami, aleen and jordana keep me in the loop! and I love Sami’s white lotus recaps! just one note though- Tinx was a tough guest because she had clearly been watching all sorts of white lotus tik toks and it sort of spoiled the fun of the show! i’m more curious to hear sami’s theories and breakdown then the theories circulating on tik tok. first episode was great though!

Late to the party, but just read SABI and listened to the episodes. I would love more book club episodes in this format.

I’m a long time you up listener and I was really disappointed to hear your episode talking about Meghan Markle’s. The vitriol is bizarre and unfounded. It’s interesting that you seem to have overlooked a very good podcast she has produced.… Intelligent and feminist with excellent guests. I don’t understand why people hate her so much but I do see racism is behind much of this intense hostility Towards her. You ladies sound so angry as if she set your houses on fire.disgusted .

Their review of Kendrick’s show feels very out of touch and completely misses the point. Complaining about it “not being family friendly” while also not addressing the way Kendrick addresses systemic racism? Wanting “Katy Perry and sharks” while ignoring the political statement that was made? I think they need to address their limited, white privileged viewpoint and really check themselves.

I love all things betches but this podcast has become almost unbearable to listen to. If you’re not going to keep up with what’s going on in pop culture, you can’t have a pop culture podcast. Listening to Sami try to explain the most basic and widely-known underlying facts about a particular celebrity/topic to Jordana and Aleen, who both act 20 years older than they are, is getting tiring. Either do your homework before the episode or turn this podcast over to people that actually care about the show.

Honestly, with the state of the world as it is, all I really want is a full deep dive into the Blake/Taylor relationship. I’m so, so delighted that Sami read all the text messages so I didn’t have to. I appreciate the appreciation of nuance and all 3 perspectives. Every single thing you discussed in this episode was extremely interesting to me. 🤓

I have such a love hate relationship with this podcast. It’s a fun listen but lately it feels like Jordana is trying so hard to be contrarian, saying things are dumb, passing judgement even though she says she isn’t up to date on the info, and dissing women involved in the stories. I love Jordana on her other podcasts, on this one though it’s feeling very “not like other girls” vibes. Maybe choosing more stories Jordana is interested in could help? Or just having a more open mind to the stories

The way you talk about Catholic is so wrong. I would never talk about Jewish people based on stereotypes, so why do you think it’s OK to do that to Catholics? Maybe you should research just a little bit about Catholic charities and what Catholic church does When we donate at church! Housing, the homeless feeding the hungry, medical care… it was a hateful message, what you all said when reviewing a TV show to make such derogatory comments about Catholics is wrong!

Pretty upsetting to hear Sami talk about Catholics and our religion as if she knows anything about it at all. Incredibly offensive, distasteful, and also false? We would never say that about your religion!

This podcast is hilarious and I love all three of these ladies. BUT I think Sami often steamrolls Jordana, and it can be very frustrating to listen to. I find myself overwhelmingly siding with Jordana’s opinions, but Sami acts like a subject-matter expert on every topic and presents her opinions as fact. Also, I’m a lawyer and Sami made some very inaccurate and misinformed statements about the Blake Lively/Justin Baldoni litigation. I don’t expect her to have the same context as a lawyer, but I think she needed to do a little bit more research before speaking with authority about, e.g., what it means to file a complaint in court versus with a state civil rights commission.

If I wanted to listen to people hate on women, I would just listen to Joe Rogen. Y’all are bitter haters. If you’re going to throw constant shade, at least be slightly funny.

This was the most uneducated, borderline misogynistic take on Lily Jay’s article. Just, yikes.

This podcast is entertaining and a nice, easy listen to get your mind off other things. I catch myself laughing out loud listening to them banter and I look forward to their episodes each week. Huge fan of all things Betches and this podcast is no different! Especially loved the book club series and hope it comes back!

i used to look forward to it every week. was a huge fan had the books etc it was so fun. now it seems so last minute not planned and t swift centered. they set up a separate podcast for taylor swift but then still only talk about her?

I’ve been trying to find something other than The Toast podcast so I was excited to find this, but my feelings are a little mixed… I feel like sometimes they have really off opinions and could maybe spend a little more time researching to call Selena not a actress or an experience actress was kind of weird seeing as she’s been in several movies and shows and literally acting since she was like three years old including in Barney,like what? and then I got the impression that maybe they just don’t like princess Catherine the video brought tears to my eyes. I totally did not relay what they were talking about and making fun and what would be wrong if they did different outfits because maybe they did this weekend where they were hanging out. seemed normal. anyway i loved it but this is just two examples lately i’ve been like , hmmmm so we really making fun of a video after someone just announced they finished their chemo after she’s already been ridiculed before for worse pictures …like this video was totally normal.

This show either needs new hosts that actually know and care about pop culture happenings, or this needs to be rebranded as something else. I love Jordana so much but she is so clueless about pop culture. Sami gets way too in the weeds and defensive and Aleen’s rants and overly earnest/Pollyanna attitude can be really annoying.

I understand how when you’re chatting with your friends the convo goes all over the place with no structure and you all talk over each other in excitement, but you can still understand each other because you’re in it and you’re seeing each other. I get it cos that’s how me and my friends are too, BUT we aren’t making a show for others to listen to and understand. Love the concept, topics and the girls but there really needs to be an awareness that other people need to follow the flow of their discussion and that’s hard to do when there’s constant yelling or changing of topic mid sentence, only to go back to the original topic in the next sentence. Half the time I have to google things cos there’s not always context if you don’t already know the story that’s being discussed, and that defeats the purpose of a relaxing podcast. It’s gotten really bad in the last few weeks too. Because it is such a stressful listen, it’s now become one of my last listens if I’ve run out of shows whereas it was usually played every Thursday for me. Pls course correct.

Also the reason they didn’t choose to focus/depict MJ in Air is well publicized…. 9/24/22 review: Get a Bravo/real house wives podcast if that’s all you’re going to talk about. It’s a bit misleading when you name a podcast regarding something you touch on in the last 20 minutes of a podcast, but spend the first 25+min talking about real housewives. If you’re going to do that, fine, but then name the podcast something about real house wives so I know not to listen, don’t pretend that the majority of the podcast is about something else…. Previous review: Superlatives arent great when we don’t know the people you’re referring to....seems like something more for you and your team. Maybe try doing it with celebs.
