Loved the show until the Captain Circus bits started. Just feels dark and out of place.

I listen to quite a few comedy podcasts, but I have not laughed harder than the ongoing bit with Blake and Cy about the hardware store. That and the Dallas brothers selling dubious “houses”. I enjoy football, so it is nice to hear that part, but I mostly come just to hear Blake and Cy. I only started listening just before the hardware bit started. It is still my all time favorite long running joke for a podcast. I had to stop a few times from laughing too hard. I almost want to go back to old episodes just to see if there are other long running jokes too.

I’ve never written a review for a podcast before, but I feel that this podcast is too important to stay silent. In a world of hot takes and sports yelling, this podcast chooses to rise above. The poignant takes not only offer deep insight into the world of sports, but humanity as well. After listening, be prepared as you will undoubtedly need a few moments of quiet reflection to ponder the newfound knowledge that has shaken the foundations of what you thought you knew.

From justice for barb, to the brothers Ken Dallas the show is funny while talking about sports (thank you Tom).

Long time fan of Cy and Blake, but this show has become nearly unbearable to listen to. The constant insertion of ridiculous inside jokes and bits that run WAY too long take it way off of an NFL track. Might be fun for them to record, but awful for listeners and fans. We don’t want to hear about Harrell Hardware anymore. However, the gambling shows are awesome! Wish they created more content along those lines.

Around the league was by far the best part of this show. Gotta find a wag to bring it back

“Tom Izzo looks like a ‘I have a swimsuit you can borrow’ type of guy.” Is the funniest thing ever said in the history of sports. That is all.

I used to enjoy this show but the Keith bit is beyond hack comedy at this point. Is there a single listener that enjoys it at this point? I’d rather listen to anything that comes out of JPG’s mouth at this point rather than listen to Blake’s repetitive dribble…

Best “sports” show on any platform. I need more southern Cy!!!

Cy is embarrassingly pretentious and I am shocked that he is a “comedian”. Paired with a simpleton who laughs at everything, constantly, this show is as amateur as it gets.

This is the best true crime podcast out there. Cy’s determination to find the truth is truly inspiring. I also enjoy that they break up the drama with some quality football commentary from time to time.

Couldn’t recommend this podcast more. I never knew or cared about the particulars of sports but I’ve learned so much from these men against my will. It’s so funny you’ll be laughing like a crazy person in your car AND learning about sports. How crazy is that? Give it a listen. It’s so great.

This podcast just makes me laugh & hopefully helps educate me on all.the.things. I’m a female that just turned 50, love football, uncertain I understand it, & I definitely don’t understand gambling, but wish I did. I done care!! This podcast makes me laugh.

This is my favorite pod cast. Not sure why as I am a. Female b. Over 50 c. I don’t watch sports d. I had not been a Vikings fan e. I don’t gamble. Ya I don’t get it either but I LOVE it.

My god, this Sota sports podcast is killer. Your takes, jokes, and conversations with each other are wonderfully constructed. And the Derrick Henry bit from Ethan was hilarious. Cy you have two masterpieces between this and Middle of Somewhere

When the cast is in full force, this show is ridiculous. Can’t wait for around the league. My favorite podcast.

I’ll give this 5 stars because this show is phenomenal. However; Joe better be back full time before football is back. He is hilarious and also possesses a wealth of knowledge about football and basketball. The show is missing the biggest part right now, which is joe.

I’m kind of forced to care about the other teams in the league just because of this show..around the league is one of the best bits ever!

It’s odd to go back and listen to the same weekly podcast more than once, but that’s how good this show is!!! I probably look insane walking around the indoor track at the local YMCA laughing like Tom S. The only thing that could make this better is a video podcast.

Content is good and Cy is hilarious but production needs work. Every time I hear Tom and JPG laughing in the background at every one of Joe’s terrible jokes it makes me want to turn it right off. More Cy, less Joe

These guys are informed, well spoken, and hilarious. I’m from MN, so I appreciate the coverage they do on our favorites teams, but they are the most honest critics of the wolves and the vikes we have, which is refreshing. Even if you’re not from MN, these guys cover the leagues at large very well. It’s a must listen for all NFL and NBA fans, or anyone who wants a good laugh for an hour. BDJ boom boom boom

Great show! In an hour they go around all the main sports, they bring the comedic punch and then some. Maybe the best part is that even though there Minnesota based. These are the least biased guys I have heard. Great show Cy keep it up!

After listening to this podcast I have become a timberwolves fan and a Vikings fan (somewhat) keep up the show it’s awesome.

I’m not a big sports fan (though my dad is so I’m not completely clueless) but I found the podcast to be gripping and rather humorous nonetheless. With that said, it’s easy to feel present in the moment, like hanging out with friends, rather than as a third party listening in. That type of podcast is typically attractive to many, who prefer to feel as included as one can feel as an outside listener. Each person brings something different and unique to the table, which helps their personalities stand out while they speak; not only by voice, but also tone, humor, and passions. There’s great ‘on air’ energy and chemistry between everyone, resulting in a captivating show, regardless of how much Cy rags on it. It’s easy to become engrossed in the conversation that I often forget I know next to nothing about half of what you guys talk about. I’m all for learning more and even with all of the side conversations, it remains informative mixed with enough wit and comedy to keep listeners engaged. I wanted to write a review only after I’ve managed to listen to all of the episodes, but I could only go as far back as 52, I believe, and even then, a couple were missing in between. Anyway, thanks JPG for sending me a link when you did. I’m enjoying it so far, and happy to finally be caught up. Looking forward to more!
