    Favorite movement/fitness podcast
This is one of my all time favorite podcasts and definitely my top movement and fitness related podcast. I’ve learned so much from in over the years, and really trust the information and guests. Kathryn is great at learning and then discerning what is the most valuable information and perspectives to platform, and then asking intelligent questions. The podcast covers everything from the science of movement (strength training, yoga, aerobics, etc.) to the health impact of exercise to the cultural and social considerations such as body politics and justice in the movement space.

    Expanding the practice of yoga
With the tools and insights from Mindful Strength I have been able to evolve what I can offer in my yoga classes. Strength practice allows an expanded realm for interoception and Kathryn offers such useful cues so that movement can be accessed by the whole range of my students. My classes have become more multi dimensional as a result.

Podcast for the curious movement nerd
I learn so much from this podcast every week. I’m curious about movement and Kathryne asks great questions. I also joined her Mindful Strength Studio (membership) and it’s made a difference. Classes are fun, different and help me to explore different ways to move. She’s challenged my opinions about strength training and yoga. A nagging shoulder pain went away after adopting some of her shoulder moves. That one class was worth the annual price. I’m a continual student, not a teacher, and in my 60s. Kathryne provides learning suitable for all curious minds and bodies.

What a beautiful blend of smart people not only from the yoga community but from other movement modalities and therapeutics. Kathryns interview style is lead with natural curiosity and an open mind to learn from others. Everytime I listen I want to take notes and listen again as soon as it is over. She really is paving the way for the movement culture blending brains and braun!!

If you’re looking for more from yoga... listen to this podcast!!!
From the guests and topics KBY shares so much information freely and unselfishly about all the experience and knowledge she has gained though the years. So glad I found this podcast as well as her virtual studio. I feel like after 10+ years of yoga this is exactly what I need but this information is something I could have used even as a beginner. So thankful for her willingness to share and help all of us who just want to truly take care of our bodies. The first one I listened to was the one with KBY’s mom. Wow! What a story! Thanks so much for your courage in sharing this and other stories that challenge the conventional wisdom around yoga. The podcast is full of great information from real people and their journeys. If you are a yoga junkie listen to this podcast before it’s too late... you won’t regret it.
