Cristoph47511Do they even like the Spurs?I really wish there was a great podcast about the Spurs, but for some reason it seems like these hosts don’t even like the team.
-
BasebornThese guys clearly don’t want to do thisOne of these guys constantly making it clear he doesn’t want to be there. It makes it hard to listen to. It’s cool that these guys cover the Spurs but why should anyone take it serious when they’re making it clear they’re doing it out of obligation. The constant negative energy is tiresome

nowayfunNot Like the other PodcastsA great podcast where Jeff’s abuse of Mike is occasionally interrupted by Spurs analysis and info.
-
NathanT29Do you care about your “Readers”?Good podcast, treat listeners like imbeciles. I understand the average nba listener has gaps in knowledge about certain intricacies, but there’s always insults to the audience. What gives? The disrespect and acting like you’re above your job is laughable.

SpursAnnNew Player NicknameThx guys. I’m enjoying the podcasts. I’m proposing a Tre Jones nickname. “SNEAKY JONES” He seems to be in plays you don’t expect because he’s so quick!
-
MermarianGreat ChatThanks for a great season of Spurs analysis. Lots of fun.

SDQ2Important for personal developmentComplete transparency here: I’m a Jeff. This podcast has provided me with an unflattering but important mirror for myself as I make strides towards becoming a Mike Finger. Bless you all (even the Jeffs)

GoshinbokuGood Show Except for JeffGet Jeff off the show and replace him with Bruno Passos.

杭州打铁匠My number one source of Spurs analysisBeen a Spurs fan for more than a decade, and very happy with this podcast. The crew knows Spurs very well and learned a lot about Spurs from them! I’m sure sponsorships are coming soon!

Edwin5592!Go Spurs GoThis podcast is no Tim Duncan.

Play DJ and Derrick togetherJust awfulThe hosts of this podcast are insufferable. Every episode is comprised of the same relentless parade of tired inside jokes and inane chitchat. These are excellent writers, but they have absolutely no talent for podcasting. The show is just awful. That said, it's also somehow tremendously entertaining. When a new episode posts, I typically stop whatever I'm doing and immediately listen to the entire thing. It's my favorite podcast.

Steve the Spurs FanBest Spurs PodHow many listeners do we need to get more than 30 minutes a week? Is that the max amount of time you can spend talking to Jeff each week? Need answers.
-
AlgouletGreat Spurs insightFantastic show. Support the Express News

jlalonzo80True InsidersLove the podcast especially with the change in format to have all the official Spurs writers. Particularly enjoy the insights and banter between Finger and MacDonald. Keep it up guys, from your FIFTH listener ! 😄

dominic.2011Best Spurs NewsThere’s many podcasts out there that give you the general perspective on the spurs but if you want a deeper dive into the team then this is the podcast. During this COVID season, things change fast so you need a podcast that will keep up with the latest spurs news and insights.

cody c txLister #12 has a opinionThis pod has it all, the hottest of hot takes 🔥 the most professional banter, In-depth analysis from Jeff’s mom! Absolutely everything!

SoubranyOne of the best NBA team podcastsVery grateful to have Spurs coverage that both informs and entertains. Excellent podcast. It’s so common for team podcasts around the league either to go overboard with the schtick or to get lost in a dense slog of game reviews. Listening to Mike, Jeff, and Tom, I learn more about the team and the players, get to weigh their opinions and also enjoy the time spent listening. Worth the calories.
-
iammattchambersFantastic show! These guys really know the team, the current happenings, and are well plugged into the things fans are talking about right now. If you can ignore Tom’s jealous remarks about not being included in Jeff and Mike’s post show fondle sessions, the basketball covered might actually teach you something. Tom should learn that kink shaming isn’t cool.
-
LexluchadorNeeds a lot of workIs this really the best we can do for a Spurs podcast? 4 sports writers acting like they don’t really want to talk about basketball at all? Pro tip: spending multiple minutes talking about how nobody listens to your podcast doesn’t make people want to listen. This might be the lowest effort sports podcast backed by an actual newspaper lol.

1balEro3Stinks!Mike is the only one who seems to care about actually talking about Spurs in detail. Although he likes to make political takes and jokes that pushes fans away. By the way this podcast is about basketball right? I don’t care about your political beliefs. I don’t even understand how Jeff is still being paid to cover the Spurs when al he says is “I would agree with that” or “sure”. And I mean Tom can’t even figure out how to ask questions on zoom interviews with the team let alone do a virtual podcast. Don’t waste your time on their garbage work. Just like the team is getting younger I think the express news should to. These guys stink!
-
ajk747Very fair takesThese guys keep it real. Love every episode.
-
GonnaDuncanYouCondescendingThis podcast has a great host but frequent guest Jeff McDonald, while sometimes insightful, can come off as very condescending. I believe McDonald and Mike Finger take turns fondling each other after each podcast and after each tweet they send out, praising each other on who was the most condescending that day. It really baffles me how they are still employed.
-
LonnieskywalkerIVGood to hear non-national talking heads talking spursSpurs keep everything close to the chest so having actual journalists talk about the team is a great insight
-
DrofusGood Local Based CoverageHey guys, thanks for doing this podcast! One thing that would make me like this podcast more would be if you guys ragged and interrupted each other just a little less. It’s funny and I get it—dudes do this. Heck, I do it. Just a little less is all I’m saying. It gets a little old and makes a listener wonder when you guys will focus on Spurs news and things of interest to them. Anyway, thanks! Really dig the podcast.

Voodoo chiliThings that make you go hmmmI like the quality of the sounds in the studio.

Junpeng511Don’t know if I like the trio chat styleThe previous version with interview style was much deeper and more insightful with better prepared questions. This new version is more of a waste of time by these three people! While I think they have juice, since they were the interviewees in previous version, they seem to be afraid to say what they really want to say.

GreecosuaveMerry Christmas and all that!Showing some love.

Peanuts0109Calm down, JabariChance is pleasant but holy smokes Jabari was a painful listen. First, he went on an unhinged rant about KL’s letter to SAS fans in which he contradicted himself about twenty times. He berated fans for not accepting the thank you and then later he said it’s fine not to accept it. Then he said spurs never apologized to KL, but in the very next sentence talked about spurs saying they wish they’d down things differently. He claimed to be neutral but his passionate defense of KL pretty much proved he wasn’t. It was a very weird pod. At one point, he made it into a referendum on society not being able to say thank you. Huh? It felt like a random fan calling into a sports radio show and being allowed to go on a bizarre rant for way too long. Unsubscribe!
-
Podcast Addict2Excellent Spurs oriented podcast by veteran reporterJabari Young is a natural for this. He is well spoken, knowledgeable and practiced. Although there are a number of Spurs podcasts featuring opinions by enthusiasts, Jabari brings the perspective, knowledge and insight of a beat reporter which makes a difference.
