    Spectacular
Thanks for making my retirement years extra special by having these Scene to Song Masterclasses at my fingertips. I’m a huge Bridges of Madison County fan having seen it over 17 times throughout the USA and once in the UK. I’m learning so much from you Shoshana and all of your knowledgeable guests. Keep up the great work.

    Great podcast!
I have an interest in theater, but not a lot of knowledge about musicals. I find this podcast to be informative and often fascinating. And it spurs me to seek out the musicals/artists that are discussed.

Wide Range of Musical Theater Topics, Approached Earnestly
This podcast covers a wide range of topics in musical theater, and the type of discussion can vary greatly depending on the guest and subject matter. But the common thread is always that musicals are treated with a serious critical and literary lens (while also celebrated as entertainment). My favorite episodes are those that dive deep into underexplored "big questions" regarding the form in general, but I also appreciate those that focus on a particular show I love.

    Smart cool musical theatre nerds!
This is my new favorite podcast. It’s so fun to hear people who are so smart and passionate about musical theatre get into the weeds on everything from diversity in casting to outsider characters. You can tell a ton of prep work goes into making these interviews flow as well as they do, but they still feel like friends having a good time — not at all pretentious. I download it every (other) Monday morning and it’s made my commute so much more interesting!
