This podcast is amazing, and I recommend it to anyone Christian with a desire to lead their sphere of influence in the gospel.

I cannot say enough about how amazing this podcast is. I have had the privilege to earn my Masters degree from a Christian College and can say that I have learned more about Biblical leadership from this podcast than all my years of college. By far worth the time to listen to this podcast, it will be a blessing for your life.

This podcast has been such an encouragement and help to me. Specifically, the most recent episode (as of January 2023 - episode on anxiety) was timed by God. He used that for my own heart in such a powerful way. Thank you for including themes that are sometimes not enjoyable to confront but need addressed as openly as anything else. The Gospel changes everything.

First of let me say I am incredibly thankful for leaders who care enough to share their struggles and address the necessary changes that we need to be looking at. Leading in the Gospel has changed my perception of leadership and my service to God. I can’t say enough praise for this podcast! If you’re on the fence about it, just jump to this side and start listening to it!

As I listened to them, I was so moved because God spoke and answered direct prayers of mine through their messages. Thank you, Cary and Andrew, for faithfully spreading this message of encouragement through this ministry.

I ran into Pastor Schmidt at a conference and asked him for advice about my recent discouragement as a pastor. He spent time to encourage me and introduced me to this podcast. It is exactly what I needed at the time. It helped knowing that I wasn’t alone in my struggles. Thank you for the help!

Thank you for these podcasts. I’m only at the beginning, but I (even as an old dude) identify with the sentiment Brother Schmidt expressed from younger men in the preview episode of wondering “where I fit” after jettisoning personality loyalty and methodology loyalty while continuing to pursue Gospel centered theology. I think this might be such a space.

Leading in the Gospel is a podcast where I always look forward to the next episode. The first interviews and stories are always gospel-centered and scripture filled. Most of the guests have been people I looked up to as a young preacher and ones that have had some influence on my life whether by their preaching, writing, or direct contact with their leadership.

I love how authentic and transparent Pastor Andrew and Cary are. There are so many gold nuggets to walk away with. As a bi-vocational Pastor I love that I can listen to the episodes and really feel the one on one mentor ship. Keep up the great work

The In the Gospel podcast is a great resource for spiritual leaders. It is insightful, helpful, encouraging, and challenging. I have learned and benefited greatly through the refreshing conversations between Cary and his guests, and you will too! Jeremy

Though much of this podcast is aimed at church leadership, much of the practical LIVING of the gospel, discussed in this podcast, transcends to other leadership roles outside the church as well as to simply walking a REAL Christian walk with our Lord. Were I a pastor, I would find this podcast GREATLY encouraging and refreshing. Those interviewed bring so much practical experience to the table.

This is a podcast I wish existed a lot sooner. These are foundational principles that have been sadly overlooked and belittled. I’m so glad to hear them articulated clearly and with the right disposition. Keep it up guys!

I was introduced to Leading in the Gospel podcast by a friend. After listening to just the first episode, I was hooked. These guys keep the gospel at the forefront of ministry and offer a lot of knowledge and instruction in a way that is loving and gentle. Can’t wait for more episodes to come out! I highly recommend anyone in church leadership, from Pastor, to song leader, to Sunday School leader, to begin listening to this.

After listening to the first three podcasts, I am eager to hear more of what these two gentlemen and their guests have to say. I missed the practical application of the Gospel in my own life and ministry for so many years, but I trust He will redeem those years by His grace. This podcast, along with the other facets of the ministry of Emmanuel Baptist Church, is deeply encouraging.
