Above timberlineImpressive learning! There are plenty of trout resources available to anyone willing to look, but there’s nothing out there (at least for me) that lets an angler learn tactics and techniques to this great sport of fly fishing in a manner quite like troutbitten. As an avid listener to the podcast I find myself immersed in the episodes as if I’m on the water with Dom and the crew. The manner and layout keeps the listener (student) glued to every word and looking forward to the next episode. Thanks to you troutbitten for giving the rest of us fly fishers a great resource. Keep up the good work…hey now!!!

Sherminator13Pretty fantastic, actually really fantasticNothing else like this podcast is out there—all the expertise of a round table of experts to going deep into technical details, to mindful essays on the mindset of nature, angling, and wilderness, and back to fly fishing education and conservation topics…all with the homegrown support of instructional videos, 1000 articles, and the Troutbitten website as a resource. Amazing, simply amazing. Strong work, Dom and crew. Fish hard, y’all.

SteelPursuitBest Resource for the Curious Fly AnglerDom and the crew challenge their listeners to think deeper about their passion for fly angling while also giving insightful advice. Their love for chasing wild trout is contagious. Only downside is they will make you regret you don’t fish more.

Blue Grass BobThanks! Thanks Dom and friends for all the great info and fishing stories😁. Love it. I don’t have nearly as much time to go fishing as much as I’d like to. Listening to this podcast is not fishing, but it’s so interesting and informative it kinda fills the void. I’m now using more tight line techniques and having success due to it. Planning to hike into the upper Poudre this weekend for some high country solitude.

Jimmy DoroughFantastic Podcast!Man I have really been enjoying this podcast! I found it a few weeks ago and have been crushing episodes ever since. I’ve also shared it with several buddies who love it as well. Dom and the boys are a blast to listen to and I have learned a ton and have been applying the pointers while on the water, and seeing increased success. The depth of knowledge is impressive and applicable. I could also see myself having a blast with these guys on the water if I ever make my way up to PA, and I may have to just to try a few Broken Heels! Thanks for the content guys and keep up the great work. Jimmy D

Peter HennessyThe best fly fishing content out thereDom and the rest of the troutbitten crew have amassed the best collection of trout fishing modern media content that exists. You can honestly forget about YouTube videos on fragmented topics because the bulk of what you need to grow as an angler can be found discussed in depth by the guys in this podcast. They’re all really funny guys and you can tell they know each other super well so the chemistry is great and it’s a blast to listen to. If you’re a serious trout angler, you have wealth of knowledge to learn here and a great time ahead doing it.

Jackco48Catching upReally love this podcast, but love when Dom shares the stage with wife and kids.

dcingramTightline nymphingTheir explanation of tightline nymphing is one the best (two episodes) explanations of how to, what to do, anf why. Thanks Dom et al. Season 10 on Critical Nymphing Concepts is really good. It is about ALL forms of nymphing. It is the complete guide. Not to be missed. I have all the episodes downloaded so I can listen to them multiple times. Still 5 stars.

RBrodheadInformative and EntertainingNew to fly fishing and luckily found this podcast. Using this resource has proven to help my success on the water. Thanks to the Troutbitten crew for giving me something to look forward to on my drive to work!

LorctheOrcOne of the best. One of the most thoughtful series of conversations about fishing and what it means to be passionate about being outside. A must listen for anyone who is interested in fishing or even just spending time outdoors. The episode “Inefficiency’s that waste your time” is applicable to almost all aspects of life. Cheers to the troutbitten crew!

What up TC"Indie...indie....indie....indie..."Just listened for first time. The hosts repeatedly (a couple of dozen times) referred to an indicator as a "indie". Over and over and over. I've been flyfishing for 20 years and never heard anyone called an indicator an "indie", let alone repeatedly. Came across as trendy dudes Not for me. Check out Tom Rosenbauer on the Orvis podcast. Tom's never gunning to cultivate a dude image.
-
PlanespeakGreat PodcastA serious, information rich podcast that never fails to educate and entertain. Keep up the great job fellas.
-
PeterbdanielGreat Podcast!“Serious anglers who don’t take themselves too seriously” The Skwala line fits this crew well. It’s like a hangout among best friends if we all shared and were discussing the same passion. Fellowship of the trout, WILD trout!
-
EJB3322Can’t get enough!Tactical education, storytelling, no corny dad jokes, differing philosophies from a group of guys. Thanks from Texas fellas!

GT in IDGreat trout fishing resourceTroutbitten has been a great resource for me as a beginning trout fisher. I am retired and decided to give it a try. The episodes and videos are super helpful and the friendly style of the hosts is enjoyable to listen to.

robsnotes4uKnowledgeThis is the most knowledgeable, trout fishing flyfishing mono line fishing podcast you’ll find just amazing information. I wish I could take lessons from these guys in my state of Montana.
-
87illiniguyFishing with FriendsListening to this podcast is like hanging out with my best friends AND learning new fishing info/ techniques at the same time. These gents clearly love and respect each other while still talking smack along the way. It’s my favorite fishing series and everyone from beginner to “advanced” 😜will learn something new each time. Thanks for sharing so much!!
-
MF_MAINE100%SOLID!!Can’t say enough about this podcast. Definitely worth every minute of listening. Full of useful information and shared in a brilliant format. I’ve been fishing since I could walk and can absolutely relate to stories of family, friendships and the river. And that’s also the best way to learn, by sharing information over time and with time on the water. Going to trout “classes” just doesn’t do it for me. But this format works! Thanks for sharing your experiences and for making it real.
-
ktessOne heck of a podcast! This podcast will entertain you and educate you. Dom and all his fishing friends share their experience and knowledge, They take you onto the river and make you feel like you are family. Keep up the good work!
-
MikeSullyNJBest school of trout fishingThis is my absolute favorite fly fishing resource! I first encountered Troutbitten in 2019 while only having fly fished for 2 years. Whether you’re a novice, as I was, or an expert I think you’ll find lessons from fundamentals to advanced techniques. Besides the educational value the crew and podcasts are just so much fun to listen to their stories and fun ribbing each other. From a “yooge” fan!
-
AlaskabeasGreat source of information.Loving the variety of topics and the depth of information. Leaves me with just enough info to decided to turn to the troutbitten website for more or move on to another episode. I also appreciate the reminder that what’s discussed in the podcast is not the only way to do something, just what works for y’all and finally it’s nice to hear the perspective of people who are not always fishing in the west.
-
son_risingGreat showProbably my favorite fly fishing podcast. There are some other really good ones out there but nobody else is consistently technical and advanced. Thanks guys, keep them coming.
-

M1WilsonA Priceless ResourceThis podcast is full of excellent content that is presented by entertaining hosts. These guys cover a wide variety of topics in great detail while also adding a touch of humor. They don’t derail the show with corny humor or over romanticization. If you are looking for a podcast to learn practical, actionable information this is it. I have been fortunate enough to fish with Dom. He is the real deal. Unlike other podcast hosts whom present theirselves as all knowing experts, Dom approaches the water with curiosity and the desire to learn as much as possible on each trip. He is open minded and extremely thoughtful. You can trust that the information presented on this podcast has been thoroughly thought out and tested. If you listen to these guys you will definitely learn the tools to catch more fish. Matt Wilson

DenveraveAn old golfer finds a new love…Spent a good part of my first 60 years on the golf course. Often times in the late afternoon…just me, my clubs, a few practice balls and the very long shadows as the sun set. As I’ve aged, I realized that golf is a younger man’s game. I can still play, but what used to come easy, now takes more work (if I can do it at all). About three years ago my wife’s cousin introduced me to fly fishing. Man, do I wish I had given it time in my earlier years. The similarities between golf and flyfishing are striking… At least to me. Now, I would much rather spend my time on a stream up in the mountains near my home in Colorado, than spend time on the golf course (tough there's still nothing like beating a drive down the middle or sticking a wedge to within 2 feet of the pin…just doesn’t happen often enough these days). Since I got such a late start, I am working hard to play catch-up and see if I can’t figure out some of the nuances of how to catch more fish. I’m still very far from being even adequate, but I love working at it. Troutbitten has been a real godsend in helping me to appreciate flyfishing and hone my very limited skills. Thanks to all of you on the podcast. Keep up the good work.

Hundo630Always at least one nuggetNo matter how long you’ve fished, or how often you get out, there is always at least one useful nugget per podcast. Keep it rolling, fellas!
-
2g5Amazing workI love the technical discussions. Lots of podcasts rely on interviews, and that’s cool, but I listen to these episodes repeatedly to improve my skills. Thanks!
-
Mattritch56Troutbitten has made me a better anglerEver since I discovered Troutbitten a couple of years ago, I’ve always found the information inspiring and helpful. It made me want to be on the water. Then the podcast and instructional videos on YouTube came on the scene and it’s literally transformed the way I fish. I cast differently, wade differently, read water differently, land fish & handle them differently and even jumped into tying flies because of hearing troutbitten talk about it. It’s provided a way for me to connect with friends and even my own family in new and enriching ways. Love the podcast-as long as you guys keep talking, I’ll be listening. Thank you.
-
Will B DunnNight fishing seriesFirstly, I’m not a night fisher but the series has peaked my interest. I am intrigued that there is a whole new science to this type of fishing. Very educational and entertaining. I will likely discuss with my crew of fishing addicts an predict I won’t be sleeping as much Thank you Bill Dunn

ItsLukeDude“Coffee and Secrets”Been loving the troutbitten podcast for about a year now. Always entertaining while I drive to work. Especially loved the story telling in the “coffee and secrets” reading, it was like something out of a John Gierach book. Would love to hear more relaxed fishing stories, keep up the great work!

TJ WorleyContagious & Helpful PassionDom and the crew take the beautiful world of fly fishing and speak into areas of it that are helpful all the way from the beginner to the advanced. They invite you into their journey of fly fishing - the good, the bad, and the in between - to help ignite a passion for fly fishing or continue to stoke the flames for those who have been in it for awhile! They make you feel like you’re right there with them, talking about something we all love to do - fly fish. Take a moment and listen! The genuineness of their love for fly fishing will make you want to stop what you’re doing, and go hit the water. Thank you for your passion, Troutbitten! I’ve grown and learned a lot in just the short time of listening, reading, and watching the top notch information you all share!
-

Reverend NelsonFly bros will bro and blockDisappointed in the opportunity they had to talk about more women and inclusion in an episode, yet was met with misogyny and sexism. When providing feedback online, I got blocked. Like we need more yt bro fly fishing podcasts anyway, I do not recommend.
-
