Excellent and fearless reporting. Thank you for this important storytelling and bringing us diverse voices and American voices.

The background music volume is too close to the speaking voices. Makes it hard to listen to. It’s not necessary. The part I listened to was interesting but trying to parse out the words from the background noise. gave me a headache. I can’t support the use of music to create drama at the expense of listening ease. If the topic is interesting you don’t need the music. I came to podcasts to get away from this cable documentary practice.

Alex, Congratulations with your new Podcast “Trumpland”. Very important to hear what is happening on the ground. You will get your chance at prime-time show later. You add mote value in your current role. I routinely listen to Rachel (historical perspective), Lawrence O’Donnel (inner workings of Congress with legal support from Andrew Weissman), Fareed (International focus), and now also to you (local people focus) to get a more complete picture. On sidenote, I think Trump Administration has 4 strategic weaknesses which can be exploited including 1) Tesla - A disgrace at any speed; People should think twice about buying a Tesla for fear of being shamed, 2) Relationship between Trump and Musk; King Musk and his puppet Trump, 3) Citizen protest and outrage about the utterly inhumane and cruel actions by the Administration (action=reaction), and 4) The price of eggs, which highlight and remind the people on a daily basis of the complete ineptitude of this administration. Bringing chickens home during birdflu outbreak. Really?? Firing scientists working on containing birdflu outbreak, increasing scarcity and prices. I will recommend your show to my family and friends.

Each episode has been very informative. I really enjoy how Alex presents each topic. Clear, direct and logical. I listen to a lot of political and world news podcasts. This is one of the best.

I really find Alex Wagner’s coverage from the field very insightful. Good to hear from non-“experts”/talking heads. Great format and unique way to share points of views. I hope her podcast continues beyond the first 100 days!

Love hearing from people that are actually affected. Alex doesn’t shy away from the tough questions & has a great way of exploring what the listener wants.

Ms. Wagner is an excellent reporter! She really works to get all sides of the issue. At first I was annoyed that she talked to Jan 6th rioters family members on their pending release. But it provided me a next level understanding of what happened. I appreciate her honesty, respect her integrity and insight.

Alex Wagner has been an amazing replacement for Rachel Maddow, but I’m glad she is moving around and digging in to the surreal mess we’re going through. I wish the audio only podcast would supplement the people speaking with a simultaneous verbal translation like bbc or NPR does. Then I could hear words, not just emotion when a non-English speaker talks.

MSNBC anchor, that should tell you all you need to know. I wouldn’t waist one minute listening to the lies and propaganda spread by this anchor on a failing news channel.

First episode was interesting! Listening to the interviews with both prisoners’ families at the jail and the injured police officer showed the HUGE divide in how Americans view law, criminal behaviors, and accountability. My heart is with the Capitol police officers who were attacked by their fellow citizens. We can’t ever forget how awful Jan 6 was.

Now this is the kind of reporting in which Alex Wagner shines!!! Admittedly, I find her boring as a nightly news anchor. So, I hope her field work reporting is extended.

You guys—you HAVE to remember that the average American reads at a SIXTH grade level. Do you think most know what an oligarchy is? Use regular language instead of $100 words most folks have never heard before. Use working class lingo! Say robber barons, fat cats, something! But oligarchy? Most Americans don’t even know what “authoritarian” means.

Shouldn’t her doctors be charged with at least manslaughter. Isn’t a doctor responsible for his actions or inactions, after all the medical board determined it was a wrongful death. That means in essence they let her die. If they were not going to treat her, they could have put her on a plane to someplace that would. It wouldn’t have taken more than a few hours to get her to help. Yeah there may be lawsuits, but this girl is dead. Settlements will not help her.

Gave it a try but more of the same. Well done but not even a token attempt at objectivity. If you want someone to massage your biases or conversely someone to despise because you hold other views then this is the show for you. Us free thinkers will continue our search for someone who isn't a party stooge.

that reporter you were interviewing in enid, OK said it was a mixed group that supported the recall and then she said progressive leftists...really? not just progressives? you are lame for not having her clarify that and because you didn’t that shows you are a fairly useless msnbc interviewer. maybe just interview dog owners, that’s more your speed.

I’ve been listening to this poor excuse for a show since Rachel went to once a week. I can’t do it anymore. After the SOTU, I listened to this side’s take and then listened to some more center shows, and the difference is like listening to Fox and then a real news network. Maybe it’s lack of charisma coupled with the inability to find her own footing, but Alex is nothing I’m going to waste anymore of my time on.

I support the civilians of Gaza but to interview a political person advocating a ‘permanent cease fire’ without even asking about the hostages release is to show a bias that repulses me and should repulse Americans of all perspectives.

I really like this podcast, but it often has background noise. The latest sounds like somebody’s doing dishes in the background and it’s so distracting. I can’t understand what’s going on.

95% of this show is now following all the Trump ongoings. This is no longer a general news program. And I’ve stopped following it.

I appreciate this show and listen regularly, but recently noticed that the subject matter is devolving into hand-wringing freakouts over the ex-president's shenanigans. Please resist the popular liberal urge to let your content become narrow and pessimistic, Alex! There is so much more in the country & world which could be well-observed by your good analysis.
