The Adult Ballet Studio

Hi! My name's Elizabeth. I've been studying ballet all my life. I started this podcast to connect with the community of adult ballet dancers & anyone working to make ballet a more welcoming space. The Adult Ballet Studio believes in pushing boundaries & taking risks. We view ballet as an art form that should be accessible regardless of age, body type, gender identity, race, ability, or background. This podcast features conversations with the empowering voices shaping the adult ballet community - a world where passion has no limits & dreams can take flight. Welcome to the studio!

Great host and topic, but needs editing
As an adult returning to ballet after many years, I love the idea of this podcast. The host is lovely and asks great questions. I’m only on the second episode so if later episodes are different I’ll update my review, but the editing (or lack of) hurts the quality a bit. Lots of filler words like “um”, extra conversation that doesn’t add to the show, and things like that. If possible, having guests wear headphones and having them record their own audio will give you a lot more freedom in editing. Looking forward to listening to the rest of the podcast!

    LOVE this podcast!!
I am so happy I found this podcast, it’s so hard to find an adult ballet community and I love that this podcast is working on connecting all of us and sharing all the struggles we have so we don’t feel so alone. Coming back to ballet at age 29 has been wonderful but felt a little lonely, this podcast has helped so much.

    Such a great find!
I stumbled upon this podcast and I'm so grateful I did... I feel like it has brought the adult ballet community to my doorstep. It's so inclusive and and supportive -- meeting me exactly where I am in my ballet journey. I am 56 and started ballet this year, so the conversations really resonate and inspire. 🩰❤️✨
