    Meh…
Meh… It’s basically just marketing and self glorification. A small handful of shows are tolerable and worth a listen. Search out your interests but don’t bother subscribing.

    Awesome podcast!!
I look forward to listening every week on my way to work!! This podcast feels like I am have a conversation with my friends . Highly recommend!!!!

    It’s alright
The host of this podcast seems pretty knowledgeable. His sidekicks…not so much. For not being sponsored by Swampfox, they sure promote their products greatly over other optics, that’s suspicious.
  • I'd do
    Horrible lol
Was painful to listen to these guys should definitely rethink what they’re doing. Maybe practice with a YouTube channel first and learn the basics
  • Rfox1973
Great podcasts with great hosts and information.
Just listened to episode 202. Heard JD toss Reed under the bus by playing audio of him singing. Hilarious! Definitely earned stars!

    Good show
Good show except for the seldom spots of misinformation, red dots typically shut off after a min or two without movement then come back on at the slightest bit of movement. Not at all like the auto off of a holo sight. That’s why red dots are way better, you never have to turn them off or on, they do both automatically. That is most of them. And Holosun doesn’t make a holo sight.

Great show very informative and I’ve actually learned a good deal about Americas favorite black rifle.

    Love the show
Great stuff!!!!!! Love the Gun Tech with some Fun.

    Knowledgeable guys
Good show with a ton of knowledge put out.
  • nateyrain
    Unlistenable - my advice: relax
I can’t tell if these guys need to do more show prep so that they have a logical flow of conversation, or less prep so that they can just naturally shoot the breeze about guns. Either way, I can’t make it more than ten minutes in. Dude needs to find some new transition phrases other than “going through...” “when we start going into” “fair enough” etc.

    Ehh
I mean, I like the topics, but this guy can’t control the spit in his mouth. So you have to listen to him slurp his spit up and swallow every 15 seconds.

    Good stuff
I love just listening to a couple guys talking guns. Helps grow my knowledge since I’m a new owner in right trampling state of New Jersey. I do have one question for you if you could discussing you haven’t already. I’m working my way down the episodes. Charging handles. Should I spend the money on a radian or just a basic 20-30$ handle
  • WadeFisch
    Great work Garth and Dually
Keep the content coming. Don’t give a hoot about what the others say. No one is perfect starting out a podcast. It’s a learning curve. Think you both are doing great! Keep it up
  • autocrossed
    Better then ever!
Glad this is back and better.

What in the name of poverty
DPMS, Olympic Arms, polymer lowers? Are you serious? You believe in those things and have a podcast that is to be taken seriously? Literally anything you have to say is invalid and to be ignored. The last hosts weren’t very knowledgeable and made a lot of mistakes talking about ARs but at least they spoke about quality manufacturers.

    Thumbs down for new hosts
Used to be my favorite podcast and great source of gun info. First two episodes of reboot are disappointing, both in content and new hosts. Just not as charismatic or enjoyable to listen to as Reed and JD. I think I’ll have to find a new show.
  • Dvcer.21
    Great pod
    Excellent

    Off to a good re-start
Glad the show is back on, high hopes for the new hosts.

    Great podcast!
Very glad to see this podcast has returned. I was a big fan before and was sad when the updates stopped. Keep the new shows coming! 😁👌💥💥💥

    Good stuff
    Excellent

    Lol
The reason people want 80% lowers is so that when dumb ass states like California try and take your rights away they can’t take it... imagine the Federal government said no more guns... your whole podcast wouldn’t be a thing. Stuff you have all this time and money invested into is now illegal being taken from you and now irrelevant...
  • Noldor858
    My #2 favorite podcast
The show has been on hiatus a while, but Reed and J.D. do a great job running the show, the topics are varied, and there is a lot of great info to be learned. They also do a much better job staying on topic than a couple of other podcasts I've tried to listen to. Keep up the good work, guys!
  • roadmeiser
    Hard listen
Content is great but the guy constantly making that smacking sound makes it unbearable to listen to.
  • 06hog
    Great podcast
But not often enough I can’t get enough Please more episodes too long in between
  • SpeedmasterSteve
    Love these guys!
Great podcast- I’d give 10 stars except they don’t post their show enough! Need more AR-15 Podcast dudes!!!

    Entertaining AR conversation
This podcast is fantastic. I recently put together my first lower receiver and I got sick of reading random online message boards for information. These guys are enjoyable to listen to, they keep it light and humorous, and they pack in lots of good info on building ARs. Episode suggestion: lightweight AR builds- pros/cons of going ultralight on barrels/BCGs etc. I’d love to know what y’all think about the high lithium and magnesium alloy receivers and carbon fiber rails. Thanks and keep up the good work.

    Scammers.
They stopped podcasting on a regular basis, then every couple of months they post a podcast and beg listeners for money and promise they are going to start posting weekly again. Then when listeners donate the just disappear for a couple months. JD claims to be a christian but then just scams his followers. Just like Joel Osteen. Ever since JD lost his job the show has went way down hill. It’s time to re-evaluate the cohost lineup and get this show to be great again
  • Brieskater1<3
    Excellent AR / Fun listening!
I am very new to AR platform, building my first this year. Lots of action packed information and easy to listen to.
  • Wes Louderman
    One of the best
Podcasts can be dry. That being said, this isn’t one of them. If you love the AR-15, or guns in general, this podcast will make a long drive to work seem all too short. Love the show and can’t wait for the newest episodes
  • Matthew Blaine
    Not great.
You can hear the host coughing, his phone is constantly pinging, and this dude even burped in the mic while his guest was speaking. This could all be overlooked if the content was better, but it isn’t. The questions are bad, and the host doesn’t give his guest anything to lead off of. Not worth the time.

    AR-15 Podcast Review
A great podcast full of information about America’s rifle, the AR-15.
  • Bananajoeboblawlaw123456789
    Very helpful
Thanks guys for a great podcast. This is helpful for someone like me who is just getting into the AR-15.
  • BrianReno
    Great Podcast
Just wanted to drop a line and let you guys know what an awesome Podcast. You guys cover a lot of great and useful information. Keep up the great work. Ideas for future episodes, range bag and contents, Ammo and barrels (twist rates), future of titanium parts (I run a titanium bolt carrier).
  • RailroadLover
    Awful
They have befriended some weirdo whose podcast includes the words German, pasta, and fetish. All they want to do is say his podcast's name over and over. I get to hear the gory details of every stupid thing J.D. does to screw up his life and how he's unemployed but never has time to get anything done. Reed talks without end, rambling on and on while ignoring his guests and cohost. It's awful They have the most dry, awkward interviewing style ever. I want to like this show, but it's awful.
  • Twain55
    Good listen
Fun, interesting and educational podcast. Thanks for sharing.

I think it’s sad that local
  • timrouse
    stick to the interview shows
I love the epidsodes where they talk to manufacturers or to a supplier. I dread the epidodes where the two hosts banter back and forth. Sometimes I think they like to hear themselves talk rather than supply meaningful content. I understand that they need to put out a show periodically in order to maintain listenership, but have a plan on what you are going to talk about.

The solution to all problems is a gun.

    Very Good
Very entertaining group of guys. Lots of knowledge passed out with fun banter between the hosts. I highly recommend for anyone who likes black rifles or firearms in general.

    On a mail route
Thank you guys for an outstanding AR 15 podcast. I’ve been listening to you guys for at least three years and I want to mail out and you guys make my day go by a lot faster. Thank you again for all the knowledge of Jane through this podcast. Sincerely George Azar

Great content but can run too long
Outstanding podcast for learning about the AR-15 platform. The info on how to build your own was most valuable to me. Also enjoy when they talk about upgrading components, price points, and interviews with manufacturers really helps you with shopping. Only downside is there can bit some “waste time” that unnecessarily extends the episode time, but certainly a good dash of humor can be a welcomed change up — just careful with going off the rails for 20 mins. ;-)

    Outstanding.. oohrah!
I built my first AR15 almost 15 years ago… getting ready to build a piston ar-15 (machining my own lower). This is great to listen to as I wait for parts to arrive and get reminded of all the things I did wrong on the first rifle. I really appreciate all the little tips and advice (like tools, taping to prevent scratching) I know if I had the parts, I'd be impatient and throw them together, so you're helping out tons … keep the podcasts coming. Update, I've been listening to this pod cast for over 5 years now.. it's like hanging with my friends (except I can't talk back). Highly recommended for everyone

    Very Informative

    Good banter and great guests!

    Awesome Podcast
Thanks for all the effort you guys have put forth to get companies like SilencerCo, Aero Precision and Faxon. My last build used a Faxon pencil 14.5 inch barrel because of their interview on this podcast. Great product. On loose rounds 004 there was a mistake. Only one I've heard in a year of listening but because of human nature I'm going to point it out because I was so blown away at how wrong the guy that said it was. At 37:35 the guy said this referring to the 5.56x45 vs a pistol cartridge. "It's not the speed idiot! It's the mass." Obviously the 5.56 has far more energy than a 230 grain 45 acp. 5.56 doesn't typically zip through anything it hits. If you are referring to the m855 round then you are probably right. The m193 or any hunting round would be instantly devastating. It's wrong to say that 5.56 will just poke a tiny hole and keep moving. Too many variables. I'm all for disagreeing with senator Feinstein but this segment should be edited/corrected. Keep up the good work though guys. And no more mistakes or I'll tell my wife that you are the one's responsible for all the new AR builds in my vault ;) 4 last year. And lower guy.. build some friggen rifles!!!!! Sorry I haven't learned names yet.
  • Loving the show in Cincy!!
    Newbie
Great builders series for someone who is entering this realm for the first time.

    Informative and entertaining!
I’ve found this podcast to be a wealth of knowledge and good entertainment for my hour drive to work. I’m impressed as the interviews are informative and their banter keeps me laughing. The hosts are dedicated people learning as they go just like the rest of us with black rifle disease.
  • JT3GUNNER
    Great podcast!
These guys are informative, funny, nutty and do an excellent job with the interviews. I subscribed and suggest you do to, so ya won’t miss one episode!!
  • GregOn2Wheels
