Great show, but FOR THE LOVE OF GOD
IF I HEAR ONE OF THESE GOD AWFUL MORE SCOTT SIGLER AD I AM GOING TO DENOUNCE YOUR NETWORK FOREVER. Is that the author singing his own praises ? Does he KNOW how awful his voice, emphases, tone and bravado is? Would give THIS podcast 5 stars, but my blood pressure from hearing these Scott Sigler ads is at its limit and I’m about to completely forsake your entire network for promoting his misogynistic garbage audio fiction. You’re so much better than that. K BYE PLEASE DO BETTER

    Season 3
It gets better every season. Season 3 had me yelling into my AirPods. All these people are nutz, no way they did a psych exam on these people to see if they could endure a trip and live on mars. I can’t get enough.😂

    Blew my mind
I started listening to this show a few years back and did not expect to hear a new season after a long hiatus. I appreciated the maker created recaps to give me some refreshers. Honestly the show blew my mind - the scope, the cast and the storyline are all outstanding. Highly recommend!

    High school-ish
This is decently acted and sounding. But dialogue and story is juvenile and overly emotional. There is no way I can imagine these are scientists that are on Mars. Story elements one of the couples is arguing “you never loved me” and replying “c’mon get back in the rover”. My goodness the premise is ok but the story around it is absolutely not believable bordering on laughable.

    Love, love, love
This story is great and keeps me engaged. I really appreciate that new episodes are coming out because the long breaks make it really hard to remember. That’s my only negative for this podcast.

    Um...
This is an absolutely terrific concept and the sound design is *amazing*. Unfortunately, the story quickly breaks down into the most ridiculously silly, wholly unbelievable melodrama. It took a lot for me to finish this - the excellent sound design was all that kept me listening. I don’t want to give this a so-so review, but the story doesn’t hold. It just doesn’t. All this tremendous potential drowns in a cringe-worthy narrative. The creator’s vision is clear, so perhaps future projects will reflect that potential (but with a better developed story).

    Speechless
This is the most underrated podcast I’ve yet come across. The acting blew me away and had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Without a doubt my absolute top favorite out of the countless hours of podcast material I’ve gobbled up. I am sad to see there is no season four...?

    Hopeful, then disappointed
Great production and cast, but the character development might as well belong to a soap opera. Wish the story was more faithful to the spirit of space exploration and survival. Why have all the leaders been turned into murderers? Ridiculous, and when there was so much potential...

    Bingeworthy
I began on Wednesday and listened nonstop through my night shift. Eagerly waiting for season 4. Helps to write down character names.

I really wanted to like it a lot more
I wanted to love this believe me. However, I found the story hard to follow it seemed the continuity needs work. I thought the actors needed more development, coaching etc. Their hearts are in it but the execution just does not get there. I thought the story lacks an authenticity, i.e., this expedition is the entire world's gift to itself, the epitome of all of the planet's strengths and the pinnacle of global achievement but the crew sounds poorly disciplined and as if they had never trained for absolutely every contingency which if they and their equipment and training and planning represented the very best of all of us would be the case. Instead they sound as if they were thrown together and just hoping for the best. I think a couple of older voices who conveyed gravitas and a sort of military discipline would be accurate given the back story. Looking forward to colony 2.0
