TYT breaks down the news cycle with insight and courage. They’re brave enough to stick with their convictions no matter what the current cultural movement maybe. Left viewpoints with honesty about the good and the bad. I only wish they had the means for more independent reporting themselves and not just commentary, but the news media is tough and we’re lucky to have them

TYT needs to change their description to Home of the Moderately Left and some occasional Right Wing false narratives. This network has left their core audience behind and is now pandering to other mainstream networks/pundits and spends more time attacking their own side than pushing back against the Right. I gave it two stars instead of one because it was the network that brought me to progressivism. Sad to see Cenk and Ana stoop so low. Also, it’s sad to see that John (who was the only reason I followed TYT the past 2-3 years) has no backbone.

I try to listen to a variety of takes, but good god. Cenk is only alive to yell and whine. I’m sure he is a fine person with some good takes, but I can not listen to this trash for more than 15 minutes. I am a conservative and I don’t really care what they have to say about republicans and trump. Just shut up for a bit and perhaps let Ana talk. I can tolerate Ana much more because she doesn’t act like a five year old and criticizes top cop kamala. Their entire empire is built on shouting about Palestine and hating trump. This show is an absolute joke just like Cenk’s presidential campaign. It is pretty funny how the commies in the reviews are whining because they are “republican shills” and “bought by Israel”.

I found The Young Turks during Bernie’s first run. I had given up on news because they all obviously served corporate interests. Their job is not to deliver current event, but to serve as a PR firm for one party and get you to support endless war. MS MSNBC, CNN Fox... none of these outlets will ever talk about our planets, public enemy number one: billionaires, corporations, and money in politics. These guys talk about the real issues every day.

I just listened to Cenk trying to drag Francesca but only projects what he does to others. This guy spent all night angry coming up with sound bites, makes him look small and weak. Go to Midas Network 🤗

I really think Cenk is making a major mistake firing Francesca & also basically using the same type of strategy as Gavin newsome. Bringing all populists together sounds laudable, but I think you are normalizing right wing populists far more than the other way around.

TYT believes that you can tax yourself to prosperity.

Maybe I’m just noticing it, but using random (all)-caps in episode descriptions has such a MAGA-style, tabloid vibe to it. Maybe that’s the way you want to go with the TYT brand, but it looks a bit right wing and desperate. When Cenk is on, I often avoid listening in the last several months. I don’t always agree with Ana, but I still like her. Will listen to anything John is on, and will also always listen if Francesca is ever on. The show goes from like a 2/5 to a 5/5 when John is there because he really is the Dragon Daddy.

I enjoy many different podcasts and try to appreciate all points view. Sometimes, people are off the mark, make errors and reference incorrectly, but no one’s perfect. Unfortunately, in TYT’s case, they are always biased and so uninformed as to be laughable, except that there are people who think the opinions of Cenk and Ana have any value at all. There needs to be a disclaimer that information is unverifiable.

I was a member and avid listener many years ago. But you stopped covering as much news and replaced it with more opinions. Then, Ana said she would not vote for Biden in 2020! I stopped listening at that time. I thought she was extremely unprofessional! I am just now, finally, unfollowing TYT😢

i’ve been listening to the show since 2013 when i was fresh into college. tyt came in handy for my current event class. the show encouraged me to also do my own research into the stories covered, especially the ones that picked my interest. i continue to watch and/or listen to the show for the honest reporting and to engage with the stories covered.

TYT was and is one of the most known outlets for news of a progressive bent, without descending into a propaganda outlet that justifies everything liberals do. Lately, though, I’ve grown very weary of Cenk’s constant moaning and griping that nobody gives him credit and that other media outlets have ridiculed them. Save it for your therapist. It’s unprofessional, embarassing and unbecoming of someone so intelligent and accomplished. It’s beneath you, Cenk.

Mostly good information that you don’t get in other outlets, but it gets old listening to Cenk complain that they reported first and no one listened. Move on and keep reporting unbiased news.

I used to watch the Young Turks on YouTube all the time because their commentary on US politics and Trump was so spot on. Then came October 7th and the Israel - Hamas war. Then their commentary became hysterical and Cenk’s became downright antisemitic. I haven’t watched them for over a year.

Ana has always been self absorbed and giving news stories based on her immediate life and views. Her “progressive” views on the homeless around LA is disgusting. Maybe you guys can take some of that Peter Thiel Polymarket money and hire someone to teach Ana to read beyond her 2nd grade level (sorry 2nd graders). She’s got all the time in the world to regurgitate other people’s stories to us with her own bent on them, but can’t be bothered to learn how to say people’s names or pronounce words beyond an early elementary level. No doubt, when telling us a story about her Armenian grandmother though, everything will be flawless.

TYT was my gateway drug to YouTube politics & reigniting an interest in politics. it’s just sad to see the the dishonesty and gaslighting concerning their shifting politics and lying about other progressive YouTubers.

Ana’s takes were horrid in this latest episode about the United Healthcare CEO shooting. Her exact words were “I don’t feel any empathy for the victim.” Nice! Very classy! Her M.O. is constantly going on self righteous rants, relentlessly promoting herself as a “real progressive” who has the moral upper hand on every single topic. Then, turns around and callously and proudly declares she can’t spare a single empathetic thought for a murder victim shot in cold blood. Babe, you are NOT a “real” progressive if that’s the kind of trash you’re spewing. That is not liberalism. It’s deplorable.

Right wing grifters

I think the topics and discussions on TYT are important. Because they discuss the current actions or statements of both political parties, by pointing out any inconsistencies by using the subject(s) own words from past interviews or previous statements or just basic proven facts. Personally it helps me form a better understanding and opinion of the (person or topic) and their values. But this is just my opinion, everyone has one…Or at least they should.

Although they have tried to be a little more honest since the election, they still fail to apologize for all the lies. But more importantly, they don’t understand why their fundamental beliefs are ridiculous. The podcast doesn’t provide anything you can’t get from CNN, The View etc.

The Young Turks (TYT), has a honest view of the political landscape. They are a progressive news show and they are fair. They are not afraid to call out the Republicans and Democrats when they are wrong, unlike most media outs. Cenk is very well versed in politics and political strategy and sometimes very passionate about his stance on a particular issue. Anna, John, and the rest of the hosts are also very intelligent, thoughtful and passionate about their political views, however they too are not afraid to call out their own for mistakes or for lying to the public.

Cenk and Ana are the best but I ❤️it when Francesca and John are here. I subscribed to their podcasts after hearing them here. Keep it up 👍

Ana and Cenk are no better than the main stream media. They say the correct themselves. But only sometimes do they actually do that. Also Ana told people who complain about her to find another show to watch. So did. The Majority Report is a thousand times better and more sane than these two could ever be. Ana should be called Mrs. Blow-hole since she says that’s what man-made vaginas are called. Would be great if the transphobic host could quit covering trans stories. She is no different than JK Rowling. Cenk is also a transphobe. He seems to think women need to have tests to see how womanly they are. They don’t care truly care about change and if you want more information find them on Reddit. Because seems the main show is going more to the grifting side. Only thing worth watching is John and Rishad. Ana can’t handle criticism. She complains then reads the posts that sympathize with her. Enjoyed when I first started watching but there are definitely signs and apparently Cenk stopped a union from forming in his business.

Cenk, I too am a stone cold atheist. We’re not just kind of like apes….. we are apes. Knowing that feels like progress. Acknowledging evolution feels progressive to me. That being said I’m voting for Trump and republicans down ballot. Again credit for the good debate and honestly if more could have a good conversation such as that the country would be better off.

This is some of the most biased and unbalanced content I have ever heard. As a long time progressive it’s embarrassing that this lack of critical analysis and thinking is publicly available.

Cenk’s rants give me life. I don’t usually like listening to lot of yelling but the terrible state of this world and USA’s complicity in it deserves all the yells. It’s therapeutic for me at this point. And I love when Anna goes off, too. Her AIPAC and gun control rants were what made me need to learn more about The Young Turks. Thank you for helping us get through this utterly devastating time.

I have been a listener since 2016 because I could not understand why no other media would speak the truth. So when I found TYT I knew I found my place for news. I may not always agree with every opinion presented but at least I can count on the facts being factual so that I can reach my own conclusions. When they get something wrong because new information comes out to reveal an error they make sure we find out about it. No other major media outlet does this much to make sure we get the actual truth. They aren’t afraid of any of the powerful folks who control the narrative everywhere else!!!!
